I'm still kinda torn I think. The oem exhaust just doesn't cut it for me but I'll have to make a decision soon. Keep posting reviews on whatever you guys get and hopefully I'll be wooed one way or another. I'm not looking to have the loudest car around but I do want to hear that classy boxer breathe like it should!

I'm in the same boat as you.. but I still think I am going to buy the Nameless muffler deletes. I had the Invidia Dual N1, got sick of the drone and sold it. Bought a Corsa.. couldn't hear it.. Sold it. I heard the muffler deletes in person and have my heart set on them, buy what you want but Nameless Muffler deletes are killer man

Don't get me wrong I love how my car sounds stock. With that being said I've seen how small the exhaust is even compared to just a 2.5" spt cat back. That's what I would consider my starting point since my buddy put one on his 11' wrx then onto his 12' sti. I just want it a little louder not so much as to drone out everything else while driving but to just hear the car sound like I think it should while driving down some slaloming roads haha

Hatch or sedan? The hatch is silent stock. I'd like to find a louder, yet deep exhaust for the hatch that doesn't drone. My CNT isn't too bad, nothing like the n1, but I'd still like less drone. I am happy with the volume though. I was thinking maybe nameless with 5" mufflers. So expensive though even for an axle back.

I have a 12' sedan. I think my best best is to go to a meet and actually hear different setups

I have nameless with 4" mufflers on my hatch. I want something with more Rumble. Definetly glad I didn't get the 5 inch np. Thinking about an invidia n1 race.

It's way different hearing the exhaust from outside vs inside. The nameless is loud from outside but silent inside.

As for the dual n1's, I'm finally used to it. It doesn't sound as loud anymore. I wonder if they just "broke in".
I talked to invidia and they said when the q300 breaks in, it gets louder.

I think the nameless 5inch is for you... Loud enough that you notice it and when you get on it people notice it... But not loud enough to be obnoxious and it has the infamous rumble

Did anyone need to use extended hangers with the invidia dual n1 on sedan?

I have a catless DP with the Q300, not really a fan of the sound. SOunds a bit raspy and tinny. Would like it to drop an octave like s many others I hear. Prob need to attend more meets and listen to some other exhausts. LIking that the volume is low though to keep the cops from hassling me.

I can vouch for this. I've had mine on for about 6-8 weeks and it has got noticeably louder. I'm really happy with the fit, looks and sounds of this exhaust. I made a video but my gopro audio had started snapping when the car is idling. So the video sounds kinda bad. If I do post it I'll put a link on here. :-)

The Nameless muffler delete axle back I just got smooths out the loud raspy noise with the stock muffler axle back completely off.

No droning though. I love it. 3" double wall staggered. Love it

I got the Invidia N1 bolted up last week, I couldn't be happier. It definitely drones, but I love being able to always hear it. It sounds mean as hell.

My buddy has the dual N1 street on his '13 sedan and it was crazy loud at first but doesn't seem so loud after running it for ~ 6 months. My Perrin quad tip on the other hand seems to be getting louder and is about the same loudness as his N1 at idle. Have you noticed yours getting quieter after breaking in?

I've read that the N1 gets louder as it gets broken in, but mine seemed to get a bit quieter. I think it might have just been me getting used to it, but once I got a catted downpipe it changed the tone and it sounds like pure heaven now.

Was it just a tone change or did it also get louder with the downpipe? When my buddy first started his N1 up and we took a ride I could feel it pulsing in my back in the front seat (mine does that in the back seat only). He added a Cobb catted downpipe and it didn't seam to get louder - just more turbo sound and a more throaty/deeper pitch. I need to get him to take me on the highway at 70 mph and see how loud it is then - I'm getting sick of my Perrin on long trips at speeds between 68-71 mph because it peaks and makes my ears sore after a couple of hours. Maybe I got a fluke but my Perrin seams almost as loud as his N1 at lower speeds for sure.

The tone got deeper, better rumble, more turbo sound and definitely a bit louder. I have the Invidia catted downpipe, so it could be a little different in sound than the Cobb

It's definitely loud, but I love it. Not to mention the WRX is just a car to drive for fun, I have a company car for my commute/work.

Alright guys so I had been running the NP muffler deletes on my 2011 sedan for about a year. AWESOME sound for the price! You get pops and spits at perfect rev matches🏻... Buuuuuuut a year in and it is getting quiet to me... Like windows down only quiet lol I really like the n1 street sound but I'm not a fan of Drone... Does the n1 race drone too?

I am running TurboXS's quad tip titanium burnt exhaust for my 2013 WRX. The sound is great. Great low and deep rumble with that great boxer sound of inefficiency. I have been told time and time again that the tips look much sexier than the Q300, as they are a brighter blue, and the tips are larger and longer. The sound has also been complimented over Q300, because it does not have that raspiness. I have experienced ZERO drone with this exhaust during break in and to the present, with about 1000 miles on the exhaust.

Installation was simple, but TurboXS may have forgotten to tell me a few details before install. I was required to either remove, or heavily trim my heatshield at the DP meeting, above the flexjoint in the midpipe.

Mating the midpipe to a stock DP will induce terrible fitment, as the midpipe has to rise to meet the smaller flange. This became known when the bolt supporting my driveshaft bearing started to chatter on the midpipe. Dremeling down the bolt + kartboy XL hangars has resolved the issue about 98%, except when hitting a bump and utilizing that flex joint.

I have an invidia catted DP ready to install, and will edit this post with fitment update once I have done so.

I paid $850 for it new straight from TurboXS, call them and see if you can do the same.

Overall sound 9/10 with only maybe Corsa beating it
Overall fitment 7/10
Overall Price 9/10 not the cheapest exhaust on the market, but is the cheapest quad tip with mufflers

I was in the same boat as you. I had the nameless performance catback with muffler deletes and a catless downpipe, it was loud af but on roadtrips i wanted to shoot my self due to how loud it was. I sold it and got the invidia n1 street, which is the perfect boxer sound

Hey guys, i have a 2011 wrx with the subaru SPT performance exhaust.

Ive been looking at getting the Invidia Q300 and have searched around the forum for an answer. Do i need a tune once i remove my SPT and put on the Q300. Also catted vs downpipe? Can someone go into a bit more depth on that or show me a FAQ thread?

You can bolt on any catback exhaust without a tune. As soon as you change the downpipe, whether it's catless or catted, you will definitely need to get a tune.

Check out the thread "Downpipe FAQ" for more detailed information regarding the change, just search that title in quotes.

Gotch ya, just found the Exhaust FAQ. So the downpipe connects to the turbo, which is why id assume i need a tune. Where as the catback connects to the rear caralytic converter instead of front.

Do you know much about warranty info on changing an exhaust? I know if i were to change downpipe and have a tune theys probably say no.
