Default April in New England/ready for summer tires?

So it's early April in New England, I was wondering how many people have put their summer tires on. I know I'm itching to get rid of the stock wheel/winter tire set-up, and put my nice wheels back on.

I rock all seasons all year. But that's probably due to my lack of nice rims.

I put the summer's back on Easter day, and I feel like I'm driving a whole new car!

Summer tires? It's snowed here a little for the past two days. Bretton Woods just got 6".

Mine went on Saturday.

It's a pretty simple decision. Look at the 10 day forecast, if there is no snow, then you are prob good to go seeing how once those 10 days pass it's now mid April and prob won't be seeing any snow.

Or, just switch them back if out of nowhere there is a big storm predicted.

Put mine on a few weeks ago. Did it because i put sti springs and new sways on.-i figured the alignment should be done with the summer setup. Car feels great. Got a bolster in my drivers seat repaired too.... this is me, having fun and looking out for pot holes!!!

I don't have a choice - bought my '13 last week and still rolling with the stock Dunlop Sport 01's.

I plan on getting some winter tires/steelies this summer. Probably going Blizzaks.

Ehh gonna wait another two weeks and do it right before the uconn show. Not really in a rush since my stockers are louder than my winters.

Probably will switch later this week. Forecast looks ok. I've been holding out since my long driveway is still muddy, and my summers aren't m&s all season.

Ice and snow on the roads today, I drive all day for work so I'll be rocking the snows for a bit longer (or if they're close enough to done I'll drive them all summer)

IMO, running the snows now causes additional wear. I saw a street sweeper out yesterday so, it's summer tire time!

Ah, n00b...... Old timers will remember the days when I had winter, spring, summer and fall specific setups plus 3 sets of race tires for dry, wet and practice.

For the Elise, the "non summer" tires have legal tread. The summer tires are below the limit and relegated to nice warm, dry days.

I put my Miata wheels on, with Federal RSR, and only driving over 50-55*, so the WRX will wait a bit longer for star specs, for the full day temps to rise.

My.02 for those who are concerned more in depth rather than just about the "rimz vs snow" issue.

Summer wheels will be going on in a few weeks. I had to get rid of my old tires when I swapped over to winter's this year, so I still need to purchase summer tires!
