05 wrx wagon and 05 wrx sti
so i have a 05 wagon but ive had aot of problems with the trans and clutch for the past 4 months........ im lookin to upgrade to a 05 sti and was wondering if the same trans and clutch were the same or does the sti have better parts...... so if any one could hook it up wit some info that would be awsome thanx

The STi has a 6 speed transmission and the R180 rear diff. It is much stronger than your stock 5 speed.

Dylan, i am on the fence about upgrading '02 gearbox or just upgrading my car to an '07 wrx. How much HP and TQ can a stock '07 wrx tranny handle?
