![]() Quick, question.. I keep seeing you say that the cap on the Moroso unit won't function right because it has to have the correct pressure difference from the cap on the radiator.... but my radiator doesn't have a cap, at all. I have a PWR aluminum radiator on my car, and the only cap in the entire system is the cap on the Moroso upper reservoir.
So does that mean it has the right pressure cap on it then? |

![]() ^ You run a cap-less aftermarket radiator? I did not know one existed for these cars. Pre-04 cars were the same from the OEM. It functions similarly and is a bigger pain to fill. Subaru added the second cap for a reason, and it wasn't to save money

![]() Yeah.. right now I'm trying to figure out where to mount the tank. The damn thing has ports sticking out of three sides in every direction, and the mounting bracket is on a side that has ports sticking out all over it. I'm using a N/A manifold, so it can't go there, and with the turbo placement of the ETS rotated kit, it doesn't really look like it's possible to get the tank any higher than the coolant lines on the turbo. I'll probably end up making a bracket and stick it where the OEM boost control solenoid goes.. but that might involve cutting off some of the ports and welding them shut. And I get the feeling that trying to get all the air out of the system is going to be a nightmare with the turbo sitting up so high.
Looks like what you're working on here would at least be much less of a pain in the ass to find a place to mount it, lol. |

![]() I’m looking to grab a few killer b items this Friday taking advantage of the Black Friday sale. I need an oil pickup, upper coolant reservoir, and the dual reservoir for my 04 sti. She has been parked for a few years and only has 47k. I really want the killer b radiator but have a hard time with the price compared to other offerings.
