Default The DSLR Camera/Car Combo Thread: Part 2

Im still trying to get more comfortable with Lightroom. I would like to have a "signature style" or consistent edits with all of my photos that I take.

I've been chasing the same thing. Maybe someone here can chime in on this, but I've always wanted some sort of "preset" feature in Lightroom for adjustments. Something I can just click on to add the edits that I do on almost every photo, then tweak it from there for that particular photo.

Mostly because my memory sucks, and I hate editing a set of photos from the same shoot and having some look slightly different than others because I changed something in my edits without noticing.

Being able to just add that same layer of edits to every photo would sort of give all of your photos their own style. Your own style. But of course tweaking would still be necessary.

Or edit one photo then select the rest of them and sync them?

gawd that audi calls my name.

iirc i used to use "actions" in PS, way back in the day (not for car stuff. but editing). id imagine the same is in LR, or its just called presets, like mentioned.
im pretty sure ive used the preset type feature (chose "copy settings) on the lightroom app, then carried it over to the desktop, to apply. which seems like the same thing Shipman mentioned.

Just make adjustments to the photo in LR and on the right hand side where it says 'presets' there's a little + sign. Hit create preset when the box comes up and bam.

To sync, select the edited photo then select the surrounding photos and hit 'sync settings'

A car gathering is AIDS.
Doesn't know the model car, comments anyway.
Thinks international-wheel-applications need to be filed with the United Nations.
I guess I just don't get it.

I think you missed the sarcasm. It's okay. Words can be hard.

Oh, like how you struggle with "preset"?

Maybe someone can chime in with a link to youtube!
