look at the wheel arches.. not the wings.. 22B and WRC wings are both wider track but WRC has bigger wheel arches. The RCM is a 2door GC8 shell with WRC wings/arches.

I'm surer than sure that its not a 22B or 22B sheetmetal.

It's a V6 Type R body, with WRC sheetmetal, NOT 22B sheet metal!

Hmmm, let's say I wanted to build a car EXACTLY like that, and ummm, I already have the 'shell' (2000 2.5RS Coupe).

What does it look like one would PAY for a replica of the Gobstopper? Yeahhh.

Wow. That's all I have to say. It's been awesome watching this from the teaser pics to the finished product. I think I'll wait a few years before I post any pics of my car.

Need some shots of Travis in the car, though!

If you read the specs, they say they run 19's on the street.

Remember that the gobstopper will be running with M/T tyres on the drag strip so we need some clearence in the arches, Rosy will put up a pic for you to see,we will try to get all the pics up in the next few days but work keeps getting in the way,so apologies for being a bit slow.

A few more pics to tide you over, till we can get the full story up. Apologies for making you all wait though.

This is the original sump and exhaust manifold...

... and this is the new sump designed by Matt Clark, together with the WRC short runner exhaust manifold

Sump and manifold in-situ

Throttle body

OS Giken triple plate clutch

It has to be Meguiars! ( a bit of blatant product placement )

and in answer to the queries about the size of the wheels, Chris B demonstrates that the Mickey Thompson drag tyres fit very nicely into the wheel arches.
