UTEC Fuel tuning question?
When tuning the Utec based on A/F ratios is it okay to lean it out to "12.2" instead of "rich" when logging? ie. Tune so that all the "rich" values are saying "12.2" when on boost?
Thanks!

Yeah, I understand that we're shooting for about 10.4 A/F.
Unfortunately, this is richer than our O2 sensor can read. I finally managed to get knock event banned from my UTEC/VF34 setup. I kept adding fuel iteration after iteration until they went away. I ended up changing some fields of the fuel map by as much as 2.3 or more points. IE: from -6.2 to -3.9 Russ |
