im coming tomorrow dispite all the tranny troubles im having. good news is that im going back throught all my linkage and clutch and stuff to double check everything and if the problem still persist the company told me they will take the tranny back rebuild it and send it out for free( even though they should do it) but best part was there was no hassle involved at all. so the car still drives just a little grind going into thrid.

Where's everyone at?
I wasn't aware there was a FB page for the meet!
Two guys were out here from C-ville in their Beamers but they've headed back home due to a no show by everyone. I'll wait til around 9:30 then I'm rolling out if no one shows.
Don't be scared of a little rain!!

hey mark, as per the fb page...

Winston's Backyard Grill
Saturday, September 1, 2012
8:00am until 10:00am
Well after a rainy Saturday causing us to cancel C&CR this past weekend, lets hope the weather doesn't do the same this upcoming Saturday.

Parking for this will start in the business office parking spaces across from Winston's. Come early, bring your camera and enjoy some good company before you start your Saturday activities.

Special thanks goes to Brian Collier for this location!

See you Saturday!

dannnnnng it. i really want to go to one. but its always on weekends ive got crap to do or im outta town!

played around with the height adj. on the new coilovers. this is as low as i bothered taking it. i havent driven it because it would need the fenders rolled FOR SURE. it puts my wheel well at 24.25" from the ground.

anyone?

i'm also getting a lot of noise from the trans now (like a shuddering whine at low rpm and at deceleration). is that typical of its mileage, or is it the start of trans failure?

also: i've been running a cocktail of mostly redline and a bit of heavy motul. time to change it up?

I'm glad that the bottles look so drinkable

I guess they don't call it a Subaru cocktail for nothing.

They put the fluid in dish washer detergant bottles. I guess thats the cheapest thing they can get that tops out at a quart.

I really need my fenders worked before the weekend. Anyone know of a shop that can roll the fenders for cheap?

You can always do the heat gun baseball bat trick.

I've done it on a few cars with decent results.

Check Craigslist, there is normally someone advertising mobile fender rolling.

If I could get my roller back from a friend I'd be willing to help you out for a small fee of course
