I Don't Know About The First 4 (?) Tire Delaminations, But On Perez's Last One You Can Plainly See Him Cross Completely Over The Kerb On The Preceding Corner...

Mega MEGA shooting day. I shot from the 3rd floor of the Brooklands VIP building for the first 40 laps, then moved to the paddock to catch parc ferme. I was right next to the podium, but unfortunately couldn't see any champagne spraying.
Over 2000 pics to review, which will start in a little while, and I'll try to get proofs up before I go to bed. Back to my real job in the morning. |

Anyone know why Hamilton didn't participate in the driver's track parade?
Edit: Nevermind. He was doing his own thing at the far end of the truck. |

Picture time!
My view of Brooklands. http://i.imgur.com/LVVXWnk.jpg Breakfast! The end of the race was fantastic! Not a Red Bull fan, but I was hoping Webber could pull it off.
Wonder what Pirelli is going to do/say about all the tire failures. They can blame the kerb all they want, but they've been having tire issues all year. |

The issues earlier were delamination, which isn't what happened here. That was a huge curb, and with the necessity of being very aggressive over them, it probably cut the shoulders.

NBC SPORTS SUCKS!! Yes, I'm yelling cause I'm still pissed. The TV "guide" said the race would start at 11:30. At 11:29 I turned to NBC Sports to a sports update and I hear "at Silverstone Hamilton's plan was crushed on the 7th lap when" - Me: fingers in ears LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALLALALALA You a**holes!!!!!!!
Makes me miss the "quality" F1 on Speed. At least they did not constantly make time/channel switches and never threw in a spoiler. |

So you thought a race in the UK was starting at 11:30am EDT? You do realize the UK is in a different time zone, right?
I can assure you, SPEED would broadcast "spoilers" in between the live showing and the later re-broadcast. No network is going to alter its programming in order to cater to folks who can't figure out how to operate a DVR correctly. |

Stay off car sites and get an uninterrupted, high quality (both in commentary and display) torrent.

Yep, obviously the tire situation is completely unacceptable, but it sure made for a hell of an exciting race! I don't know why 3 laps into the 2nd safety car no one was even at Vettel's car yet. If it had come in one lap earlier, Webber would have won. But there are infinite "ifs" in these situations. Sutil continues to really impress. He fell off in the final laps when he was on old tires (like Raikkonen) but was looking good for a podium for a while there.
