No problem mang. Do you have an unlocked map for your car I could look at? I want to see what you're pushing for boost targets. I'm thinking I could easily do 22-24 with this turbo and just retard the timing a bit because I'm still on pump. It should be able to hold pretty well to redline too.

Louie, it has a Garrett GT2871R. Everything I've read is that it's a 400 crank turbo which would mean it'd be about 310whp for me, but then I read that the SR20 guys are getting 370-410 wheel out of them...

No idea as far as local shops for the forged block. I'd stay away from Graveyard: my buddy had them port, polish, rebuild, and upgrade his B16 Honda head, and less than a week after he gets it back together, the valve seals are failing. He was also quoted a 6-week lead time, and it ended up taking 12. I was really hoping to be able to count on them to be a good shop, but I won't bring my business to them because of the headaches he has gone through.

Nice..i have never really heard of anyone putting a gt28 on a subaru its pretty common on miatas though they can pull around 300-400whp out of those on the little 1.8Ls = sick. The R at the end is it rotated?

R in a Garrett means that it's ball bearing, not journal. On my 2.0 I think I can push it to mid-300 range safely. That's almost guaranteeing that I will murder my 5 speed, but so be it.

Yeah, probably true. I need some track time before I can handle an auto car!

Dammit Aron! Go OpenSource for your next tune and we won't have this issue!

Ok so now I am having issues With ewg.

It gets up to target boost but then doesn't hold untill redline. Normally it would do the wastegate flutter to keep from over boosting but I am not hearing that?

I checked the lines to ebcs and the ewg itself. Everything looks fine.

Any suggestions.

Would it normally hold until redline? It has to be something stupid like one of the lines, or somehow you just sprung an exhaust leak pre-turbo.

Anyone have a wingless trunk that they want to swap with me? I don't really care the color. Mine is AW with a WRX wing.

I agree with that whole-heartedly.

Why'd you switch your fronts to STi control arms? Were yours just that rusty? Did you take yours through Delta for the service bulletin for them? With all that being said, I need to either nut up and do the STi swap, or take it in to Delta and have them POR-15 them. Boo to rust.

Quick question for somebody, if i paid for the part and the shipping, would someone get something from delta for me and mail it to me? I'm going to be way too busy inthe next 2 weeks to make a trip down there to pick it up.
I could order from genuine suby I suppose, but for what i'm getting (bolts and clips for fenders) would be silly to pay for shipping.

Also - if anyone would be willing to cone up to Cadillac to help, ill cook a killer meal ( venison, bear, elk, tilapia, red snapper, or fresh shrimp) and supply some beer. My motor build is coming down to the wire, and I cannot.seem to get a lending hand when I need it. Two people.can get more than 2x what one person can.

Rob, you wanna sell me a driver side mirror? The glass is cracked in mine and I hate that.

Layvon, what is your deadline for? When would you need help? I have LSPR this week, but I think I'm free after that...?

Sounds good mang. Let me know a price.

Good luck with the realtor. So who all is still meeting up tonight? I've got a migraine (first one), so I'm out as well.
