Thank you both subieski and travisty, I'm going to houghton this weekend, though not so much for rally, but I will try to catch a stage or two.

Perhaps you have had a beer at KBC before? That is a pretty good hike to meet compared to meeting in GR but good company all the same

The two weekends afterthat are hopefully going to be working weekends, friday at 5 till sunday at 8pm. I have to be in chicago by november 15th to get tuned. Thanks guys!

Never been to KBC. Where are they out of?

If you make it to a stage and wasn't to stop by the pits afterwards you're welcome to swing by RTK (Rally Team Kaltak) or Relentless Racing. I'll be there all weekend. =)

I'll let you know what I can do to help after this weekend.

Yup check bulbs first thing I did before fuse. Switch them out with different bulbs to double check and still nothing.

I have one, but it's out at my dads currently and you definitely need a truck and an extra person to help load/unload.

We'll see if anyone else can get you one. If not, you're welcome to mine.

I've got 6 of them so it shouldn't be a problem.

What would be a good shop to have a motor built by around this area? (this was brought up before but i can't seem to find any names). Talked to oakos today they have a 2+ month wait it sounds like.

I can't give you a suggestion of a good name, but I can tell you to stay away from Graveyard. What about having an engine built by an out of state shop? There is a builder in Florida that all they do is built motors, have good prices, and can go as mild or wild as you want!

They're in the vendor section.. I'll try to get you a name tomorrow when I'm on my PC.

I am looking more to drop the car off for a period of time and come back with it done. As much as I would like to pretend i know how to get the motor in the car and working my best attempt would be to drop it on the trunk and jump on it until it runs :S. I am trying to look around for 6 star reviews i really can't find alot i must be looking in the wrong place (any opinon?), and we talked to oakos like i said.

I would stay away from Oakos for building a motor. Your best bet would be your tuner. Unless you tune your own car. P&l may be another option. If your looking in state, check with Austin Jordan's. just to give you a heads up, their customer service sucks but they do top notch work.

If you're on a cobb, I would imagine than your stage 2 tune is safer than stock. I think your best bet is getting it built by P&L and JR Tuned

Or AMS, but once you start there, they wont touch your motor if you do something to it. ( ie they only work on their motor builds)

6 Star is epic from everything I've heard. My buddy had his rally car tuned by them and they did fantastic work, plus everyone uses their gaskets.

Haha, sarcasm for the win! No one offered help because no one could think of anything man. We're not here to **** on other people, obviously everyone helps everyone whenever we can. I take it you got your junk fixed?

I can't recommend Austin Jordan's. I had them do my bore on my engine and I asked them to bore-match the pistons. They had me wait something like 4 weeks because the owner is the only one who works on Subaru's, and then they had to wait for the pistons to get in so they could bore match. When I got the engine home and opened the pistons, none had been taken out of the package or numbered. They didn't bore match.

That engine ended up with a little piston slap because of that. And like Aron said, the customer service sucks. "Hey, I'm calling about my engine." "Alright, I'll have to give you a call back in fifteen minutes and I'll let you know." The next day, after not hearing from them - "Hey, calling about my motor again." "Oh sorry sir, I'll have to call you back in a couple minutes when I can go ask my guys." - I call back 5 hours later - "Never heard anything about my engine; are there any updates?" "We're waiting on pistons still, sorry."

And that was after being told that it'd be finished the first day. I got that run around for 3 weeks.
