At any rate, was tons of fun and have a whole new respect for my car...shortpersonBK can vouch for me that my car was driving pretty slick.
Idk about slick seemed alot more like yolo, but you got the launch down, and shifting was smooth. That sucks about the tires though leaving the winter tires at home would be a good idea for you, you were hardcore slidding thru the turns, it was like the ground was ice. I never would have the guts to push the car like you were doing pry why I always do so bad. I need to find the limits of my car which I do not want to do, let alone do it infront of 100+ people. Idk what was up with group 4 runs I would go as far to say that %30+ of the runs were DNFs at one point we had 6 in a row in my corner alone :S. I will take my slow/smooth runs over a quick DNF.

I DNF ONCE because the damn sun was in my eyes since we were the last people to go and i missed one cone...it may have looked like a lot of sliding but since i had the snow tires, in order to get the speed i wanted it was the only option to get my nose in the right direction and go. You also have to realize that that was my first time in that car auto-xing and my first auto-x in about 2 years and even then i only did like 1 before that.

Overall it was a great time and i got to learn what my car can do, I will have better tires next auto-x and i believe that will really show me what my car i can do

Whats up with the Rallyx thing, will my sabaru make it out alive if i go?
Oh it will make it our alive but you will be missing body panels just ask Todd. Actually the Marshall event is a day night event. So it's a little different. But way easier on your car cuz its pretty flat and usually doesn't rut too bad.

Of course there was the rollover a few years back. LOL
And the tree!

All part of the game.

Hurry and sign up before they reach 50 cars.

I would consider Signing up and RallyX the Forester, but the WRX is still down. Going to ship the Injectors out to Witch Hunter today for testing and cleaning.

That event is always hard cuz it's cold. Tires don't want to heat up. Zero grip. Not to mention the sealed surface was like ice. **** one year it snowed. It was all about the e brake.

My car has launch control! Looks like I'll definitely be scrounging up my tax refund monies for a 6 speed, LOL

Aron, let me know what your brudda says about the exhaust.

Rob, let me know if you want me to get a price on any/all of that tubing.

Rob and Aron: you both need to subscribe to these channels on YouTube. This is Lucas from last weekends AutoX and the crew he's associated with.

That's his car. I wasn't there and didn't meet him personally, but Rob and Aron did.

Running the Stock STI DCCD controller is a convoluted mess. You would have to install a bunch of Sensors on your car that you don't have. This is a much simpler, cheaper solution for those doing DCCD 6 Speed Swaps.

Stock is built in to the ECU, ABS sensors, yaw and pitch controls... Too complex to swap over, so aftermarket is the only real option.
