I bought your second import tuner mag when it came out back in the day and just the other day i saw the modified mag. I said "damn another crazy bugeye, like that one Braindchild car" needless to say i was quite surprised when i read this thread.
Your imagination has no end, very impressive. |

It would be easier to just do an ABS delete completely, but as a DD? I don't know :-\

Aha! I always thought I would search around and find the cover car on that Modified Magazine issue sitting on my table. Stumbled upon it completely randomly! Beautiful car and great work!

cheers! thank you. And yea, the front bumper is easily the most unique and polarizing part on the car I've found. People either love it or hate it. I will say that the lines are more easily appreciated in person - it's a crazy bumper! Made by Gram Lights (Ray Engineering) by the way - one of only a handful in existance. thank you!! |

I had a photoshop done with the vents red because I was curious too, but I think it needs the carbon to balance it out. Though it didn't look bad. Part of the rarity of the bumper is in the carbon ducts too, since they also made one with FRP ducts. Quote:
Here's that photochop courtesy silverf4turbo. He did one with some voltex canards over the vents, it looked crazy! |

Saw the car in V2 and yeah in person the bumper looks much more awesome! I'd really like to see this car with some different wheels. The bbs's just look a little plain Idk...maybe some super polished CCW classics

thanks i agree. I may paint it eventually (or part of it), but I'm happy with the carbon for now. I think it needs to have the contrast. thanks, yep from MoCo. It made 404whp about 6 years ago! I haven't had it back on the dyno this around, it should make a decent bit more than that. Since the last dyno, we've changed and built the heads w cams, added intake manifold, exhaust manifold, etc... I would say it should do 475whp ish without much issue. It's on my list for 2013. |
