3. I felt that with all of the crazy work and detail being included on this version of the build, a much simpler paint color would be better because it would allow all of the details to pop, rather than get lost behind the paint color.

4. Last, I built this final rendidition for me to enjoy first and foremost - and I've always loved the classic ferrari red.
Thanks for the reply - I agree with your number 3 reason. Seeing your build motivates me to finish cutting sheet metal for my engine bay tuck/shave

PS: I need your ABS relocate setup

After review, the state allowed me to register the car as a specialty vehicle. Which means, all modifications are unrestricted and emissions testing is not required.
Interesting. I wouldn't have even known such a thing was possible.

It would be easier to just do an ABS delete completely, but as a DD? I don't know :-\

Aha! I always thought I would search around and find the cover car on that Modified Magazine issue sitting on my table. Stumbled upon it completely randomly! Beautiful car and great work!

thank you. And yea, the front bumper is easily the most unique and polarizing part on the car I've found. People either love it or hate it. I will say that the lines are more easily appreciated in person - it's a crazy bumper!

Made by Gram Lights (Ray Engineering) by the way - one of only a handful in existance.

Yeah I'm not sure if they are still releasing new stuff, but they did make parts for a handful of cars (rx7, evo, etc).

I had a photoshop done with the vents red because I was curious too, but I think it needs the carbon to balance it out. Though it didn't look bad. Part of the rarity of the bumper is in the carbon ducts too, since they also made one with FRP ducts.

Agreed, needs to be appreciated in person.

Here's that photochop courtesy silverf4turbo. He did one with some voltex canards over the vents, it looked crazy!

Saw the car in V2 and yeah in person the bumper looks much more awesome! I'd really like to see this car with some different wheels. The bbs's just look a little plain Idk...maybe some super polished CCW classics

thanks dude. I could never get rid of these wheels! They don't make em much more legit than this. I may be getting my friends gram lights as a second set in the near future though.

thanks i agree. I may paint it eventually (or part of it), but I'm happy with the carbon for now. I think it needs to have the contrast.

thanks, yep from MoCo. It made 404whp about 6 years ago! I haven't had it back on the dyno this around, it should make a decent bit more than that. Since the last dyno, we've changed and built the heads w cams, added intake manifold, exhaust manifold, etc... I would say it should do 475whp ish without much issue. It's on my list for 2013.
