Question Looking at tires

I'm looking to maybe upgrade my tires, and I was just wondering if I could get some opinions. For people who live in western Washington, what are some really good value performance tires, probably V rated or better, with good wet-traction, and good ride quality. I was checking out the Yokohama AVS db at Tirerack. Any others I should be looking at?

If you live up here in Kirkland, I can help out at Tires Plus... they do our chrome dipped rims and all our used car tires for the dealership, and give our friends breaks (they put free tires on my beater Justy... 'course, not too much $$ to put rubber on 12" rims)
PM me if you want the referral

Seems like lots of people are trying the Kuhmo 712. I know their 700 Victoracer is a proven autocross tire.
Discount Tire can usually be shamed into matching TieRack prices...or they'll be happy to mount tires you get from Discount Tire Direct.

Thanks for all the replies Looks like I'll be getting a new set of SP5000's. I've heard good things about them before, so I figure they must be decent. Thanks, guys!

I've been REALLY happy with the Toyo Proxes H4's that I'm running. They are not all-seasons, they are performance touring tires, so they have excellent good wet/dry traction. Extremely quiet, too.
