It came off wrong. I genuinely want him to ask! It’ll give my point further confirmation

I haven't chatted with him since right after the 22 WRX was released, but I'll ask.

In case nobody ever saw this, just wanted to confirm this is 100% exactly how the sti would have looked. Multiple sources have told me this picture was created based on insiders who saw the car

You guys don’t realize how close we where to production.

There where multiple production spec STIs built. I wish I could say more, but my hands are tied on this one.

What I will say is this: the mule ran the EJ, one production spec car had the EJ, the other had a different engine. I cannot say which motor was in it.

Yeah, I brought it up ages ago. Subaru never officially confirmed killing or producing an SGP STI for the home market. We only heard from SOA that we would not be getting an ICE STI. SOJ did kill the EJ though...officially.

To me it was telling that SOA never released a Final Edition EJ STI. SOJ knew they were moving on regardless of the future. SOA probably had lots of internal discussion about cost, cost-savings, brand image, customer loyalty, etc.

There was never a VB mule with an EJ. Period

There was also an EJ25 final edition.

Yeah? USDM EJ25 Final Edition? Because my comment was pertaining to SOA aka Subaru of America. Not Subaru (of) Australia. Any explanation why Subaru didn't make the USDM 2021 STI the Final Edition of the EJ25? Because that's what we were all waiting for after seeing the EJ20/EJ25 Final Edition STI elsewhere. Yet never an announcement of a USDM Final Edition STI, IIRC.

Wrong.

I’ve talked to multiple people who have seen the car. How can you say there was never one when you don’t have any credible resources to disprove me.

Multiple people from Camden have seen it. Multiple. On several different trips to Japan. That’s as much as I can say regarding that. If
You actually have anybody who knows anything about what’s going on at Subaru they’ll confirm that with you. If you say otherwise it’s clear as day to me you don’t know what was going on or is going on with these models…..respectfully.

With an EJ tho? I've owned too many EJ25 vehicles. Wouldn't be interested in owning another.

So nobody from SOA ever went to Japan to see the cancelled *before it was cancelled* STI? Is that what you are saying?
