Default 1993 JDM Rack & Pinon Options (Swap or Rebuild)

Team,

My RHD '93 WRX power steering rack has a massive leak where the valve body housing meets the pinion housing.

I purchased a v7 STI RHD rack thinking it would fit but it turns out that the spline on the input shaft is different.

'93 WRX -- thin w/ large coarse teeth on both ends
v7 STI -- thick with fine teeth on both ends

The knuckle is also completely different and I don't wanna be in the business of frankenstiening a knuckle between the two different spline types.

I see my options as follows

1. Get a seal kit for my original rack. Would anyone have any idea which kit to get? I tried to look it up but ostensibily they all look the same. I' *think* LHD/RHD are the same as far as seals are concerned?

2. Put my already leaking '93 valve housing body onto the v7 pinon. I'm afaid though I'll just end up where I started if I do this. Unless I can find a kit (or reuse whatever is on the v7)

Anyone else ever been in this position? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys,
