No prob SG: the season is less than 3 months away and I need to find me a size 13 Driver X boots
Das: Get both, spoil yourself this year and save some money, go for the silver at $314 and your son will be a fraction of that price also.

Nope there is black out dates during peak season but I believe you get a discount on day passes, buy the gold you will get your money's worth out of it do the math of what the pass is worth compare that to a day pass and the ammount of times you go up you will actually save money

i've had the silver pass for the last two years and the black out dates IIRC:

Dec 26 - Jan 3
weekends Jan/Feb

Those are the times when Cypress is waaay too busy so it works out IMHO.

and thanks for the reminder Noel!

Same thing Slowguy, Silvers two years in a row for me..seems like the best bang for the buck. Plus 40% off lift tickets sure does sweeten the deal.

No prob Nul, the season is almost upon us.

Thanks for the continued support guys

With Adult Silver you'd have to go 6 times, 12 times with Adult Gold to break even.
Go for the Silver Pass if you go during the black out period your lift tickets are 40% discounted also.
Cheers

I'm glad so many people are choosing the Cypress. I wouldn't mind getting up there this year but

$355 for Seymour no black out dates during the best snow of the year. And no lift lines most of the time, can get in at least 12-18 runs riding 2-3hrs after work.. Now if I can only beat my last years 92/km top speed at Seymour... Easy to beat at Whistler, Baker & Big White.. but Seymour you really need the right wax and pump everything in sight.

You can't really do speed runs on Cypress.
I got waved down by speed patrol for going "too fast"

Can't wait to try my new board:

I hear ya Man!
Sweet price for a Seymour pass, i'll need to hit it up a few times this season.
True, the line-ups at Cypress can be nuts on a sunny weekend after a dump but I've seen that on every hill.
Jump in the singles line! that's what we do when we're Jonesing on a busy day.
92kms? holy frack that's moving, must have been a 1 min run?
Oh Mt Baker! I love thee

Nice Stick yo
I've been flagged before by speed patrol but only on a green run like Collins, we mach on that run and it helps if it isn't littered with newbs.
Speed Patrol always chill in the same spot also so that helps.
