Default Dallas vinyl tail overlays

I bought some red vinyl tail overlays for my WRX. Anyone know where I might be able to get them put on professionally?

These are the ones I got

I tried Alta Mere in Oak Lawn, also called JR customs and the Sewell Body shop.

Thanks,

It's not that hard to do yourself. Just spray the light with water, spray the overlay, and take your time. Squeegee it carefully and then trim when finished.

But you won't pass your next inspection. Taillights can't have any sort of overlay or tint now, regardless of color.

The instructions say you need a heat gun and something else I don't have. As far as the inspection, how do they actually check it? Because it's a very OEM look and without knowing subarus you wouldn't really think it's a mod.

When I put mine on my old car, I just used a blow drier. A heat gun can cause stretch marks and damage them if you haven't used one extensively. Don't worry about small air bubbles that form if you put them on. You can usually just puncture them and then push the air out, since the vinyl is self-annealing.

I had to remove my clear overlay on my headlights last year after I failed inspection. The finish is noticeably smoother than a regular light. You might get lucky and have a guy that doesn't really look closely though. If so, you can just remove the overlay and go back. Dumb law for tints that don't alter the brightness, but still a law.
