Cant wait to see what it does on your 750R kit and I cant wait to see it under my hood too. I would run the piping over my alternator even if that ment fabing something up on my hood so i could keep the ic piping as short as possiable.

We've been tossing around a lot of new ideas for the intake manifold before we finalize the design for production. We should have much more info in July. (fingers crossed)

That AMS mani looks good! Jun Machine Shop recently re-released their EJ207 intake that looks similar to the AMS mani. Too bad it cost $3,000

We don't have GTRs, that explains the infinite wait;-)

The GT-R guys are waiting for parts too.

In reality, things are taking longer than expected. One of our engineers moved across country recently so projects have slowed down considerably.

As soon as the GT-R and Evo 8/9 turbo kits are finalized in design, the Suby intake manifold will be our top priority.

Believe me, I'm hounding these guys to get it done too (waiting on one for my car! )

I dont understand why not make it tgv deleted as everyone does that as well too and would make it cleaner install and less chances for leaks.

I'd hate to see how long it would take to produce the manifold if they didn't have a rapid prototype machine. Nearly 3 years since they announced they were working on it...

The unit was actually totally redesigned, approved and is in the process of being production cast now. The new unit does indeed have TGV deletes incorporated in it.

A lot of factors contributed to the time taken to develop this.

1. We learned a lot along the way and while we could of come to market with a product a while ago we decided we would rather continue to evolve it so that we are putting out best foot forward. Hindsight being 20/20 we should not of made a thread announcing we were working on this as it only served to aggravate our customers. For that we are sincerely sorry

2. casting companies have progressed over the past couple of years and with a project this complex we wanted to make sure the best foundry was going to pour this unit.

3. learning from other cars played a big part in this. With what we learned from the EVO, Porsche And GT-R the final version of the cast manifold is leaps and bound better than the original.

Rather than throw another date out there I'm going to say that we are still a ways out. Once get the first cast sample and we approve it we are still looking at 4-6 months of actual production casting time. This part is still going to take quite a while.

While this seems to of taken an eternity it was not all wasted time. When it does come to market I don't think another unit is going to come close to it's performance and production quality.

For those that are still sticking it out... THANK YOU!

For this that have moved on to another unit, we are sorry and we do understand.

When we have more accurate and solid information I will post it but I promise to not put up any more info or timelines that are not 100% accurate.

Thank you sincerely

Love your intake mani's I have had several on my 1st, 2nd gen dsm's and my evo's.

But I am still waiting for the STI. And I am starting to run out of stuff for my STI.

Any added info would be really nice.
