Keeping restrictor pill installed with catless jpipe
2018 wrx stage 1+ atm on cobb ots map. Ordered a catless downpipe/jp not doing my research properly. Haven't installed still debating knowing cobbs stage 2 map requires catted due to overboosting. So what if I keep restrictor pill installed? It's a stretch. Thanks

...or you could just buy a catted j pipe instead of running the risk of blowing your engine

If you're going to run cobb OTS maps, do not experiment with catless

keeping pill there for aftermarket J pipe = less boost than OTS stage 1

ordered? as in not received? can you cancel the order?
If your driving on the street (OTS tune? probably.) do us all a favor. get a cat. No one wants to inhale your ****. My 2 cents. |

*update
Been on stage 2 cobb ots for 1kmiles on catless. No issues at all. I live in florida where it's pretty hot. Delicious tune stage 2 on the way regardless.

Datalog boost/MAP and see what happens. Cobb offers a couple maps for slightly different WG levels to help with this. Additionally you can experiment with different orifice size restrictor pills to raise or lower boost levels. MIG jets and/or a drill work well. Just don't get greedy on your boost levels.
