I think you mean compression. Or do you mean go turbo. If so yeah quite a few people have done STI swaps into GC's. But if you mean has anyone installed an STI block and then ran high compression pistons? No at least not to MY knoledge. Maybe someone else here has. I was talking with the guys at crawford performance and they were saying it'd be pretty cool to do a Bored and Stroked 2.8 Litre RS and run like 11 or 12:1 compression. It'd be a torque monster. I hella want a 2.8RS with 11:1 compression! Some how I doubt that would pass smog tho.

wrong section if your asking about swaps or sti shortblocks...
cox, i doubt hes talking about a high cr sti shortblock. He wants to boost his car, and from what i interpret is that he wants to turbocharge the shortblock. |
