Default Is it worth getting a Access Port?

Hello

I have a 2019 WRX. Stock. It has 28000 miles on it. Is it worth getting the Cobb Access Port and getting stage 1 or 1+ ? What changes will it make to the car? How much will hp and torque change?

Are you under warranty? That will affect the situation.

If you go on Cobb's website they will have specific values for the percentage increase in torque and horsepower for a given off-the-shelf tune.

Although for the FA motors, I say just grab some ethanol, and bolt ons, email Phatbotti tuning and send it. They do use an access port for their tuning it though.

I wouldn't bother with ots tunes...

I second that except I suggest you leave car stock. Maybe only gs ebcs for better boost control. You will make 10-20whp less, save 2500$ and headaches w emissions and all later.

Unless of course you care not about money or emissions for meserly 20whp. Stg 1 is worth it only if you wanna save your warranty. But you will miss out on fun.

There is nothing wrong with the factory boost control for factory turbos… Nothing.

The rev hang on the 15+ WRX is worth tuning out anyway so its no brainer to switch to a 3 port when reflashing the map
