I got notification that my shift linkage got shipped. I'm stoked. So ready to do this swap now. I just have to sort a couple things out and then I should be good to go.

It's the gasket from the intercooler to the bov adapter.

Dropped it off at Conti last night to see if a software update will prevent another incident where my BRZ refused to start up for over 40 minutes last week. Also could help with the random rough start up issues I've had since the beginning.

Pulled the motor, drilled out some spot welds, started work on dropping the transmission, gave up for the night when the passenger axle won't release from the transmission. I tried everything I could think of but can't come up with anything lol

I'll be pulling parts of the interior and putting up a for sale thread soon. Keep your eyes peeled.

Splined, I got the drivers side out with a pry bar, one quick pop and it was out, pass side isn't cooperating, and I had to call it quits before frustration set in. I was going to pull the axle nut tomorrow and see if that helps.

Oh, cleaned down the long block and got it ready for parts mockup and paint.

Wes, I'm selling mostly stock items... Stripping the car down for a full color change hopefully.

Went back into the shop, tried a different angle, pop goes the axle... We're all set.

Usually how it goes!

A while back I was doing ball joints on a Dana 60. Fought with the thing for hours to the point I was completely pissed and at the throwing tools stage. Decided to call it quits for the day before I broke something or hurt myself!
The next morning I had it all apart and together with new parts in less than an hour.

Engine and transmission out, getting ready to put it on wheel dollies and rotate for a through bay cleaning.

Oh, I'll be clipping out the brake lines tonight or tomorrow... Interior strip is just around the corner.

STi Interior by any chance or carpet? I could use some stock items. I'll keep my eye out.

I've predicted that you'll be too busy buying another Legacy. Plus Marlons will buy my BRZ and either you can salvage it for pieces shortly afterwards or just buy it from him shortly afterwards. I would say buy an FR-S and then wait to salvage parts from mine.

I can only see the future of Black people, which, statistically, is short-lived. Ain't no Midas Touch there, baby!

Guessing your future is just a character study, same as how I'll never keep a car from birth to the graveyard (factory to the dump) apparently.
