Default Drag and Drift Tonight Sep. 19th at Firebird Raceway

Just seeing if anyone is interested or is planning on going to the Drag and Drift event tonight.

I know of a few people going. Should be a good time.

Odd question, but we haven't been there before, do they allow dogs? Also what color is your wagon, I'll look for ya.

Not sure if they allow "horse's" or not. Maybe check their website out.

I've got the silver wagon with the front mount. I come to the San Tan meet so you know my car. Just probably don't know my screen name.

Haha that tiburon was pushing that thing so hard around the corners, but he forgot about the FWD. I must admit it was comical to watch.

last time he didn't even pull hard around the corners, he just drove through the course doing about 15 mph tops.. not really sure why he continues to waste his money

Hell, I might take the wagon out next time just to jack around and let the girl drive. She's never even BEEN on a track. Cheap fun. Might let her drag it too if they let 2 people in the car. Some tracks don't.

You guys can drive together as long as you don't run faster than a 13.99

that was me destroying my drivetrain. I'm about to swap the engine, tranny and diffs so i thought what the hell. That was fun but the course wasn't that exciting, my roomie said the setup last week had a lot more options.

um...yeah i need to get on that. I don't think i will be driving my car hard again before i get a beater. Originally i was just going to do turbo, fmic and supporting mods...but you know how it goes. turbo upgrade is the gateway drug of the modifying addiction. Now i have an ej22t, cf driveshaft, coilovers and a garage full of other parts that will probably collect dust until next summer before everything is finally in the car and running. once i get a solid, cheap civic daily driver i will be stripping the car and building for time attack. we'll see.

No clue what it will run, with the both of us and her first time....I doubt we'll even need helmets. She just wants to learn...she's so scared people will give her a hard time. I told her, anytime a girl even gets on the track and actually tries they will get a little respect. I'm more afraid for my clutch than anything else. Funk it.
