Default Andrewtech SR55 Install

Andrewtech did the installation of my SR55 Saturday by special apointment. You can slap a turbo on a WRX in just an hour or two, maybe less. If you work like Andrew does, it takes much longer. Every car has idiosyncrasies requiring attention. In the case of my car there are more than a few because of my mods and because aftermarket parts are almost always a little off (except for Crucialís of course). For instance, the GP Moto header outlet to the turbo is just a little off center and the wrong gasket can interfere. The outlet on the APS SR55 is just a little different from stock. In both cases, were the gaskets not modified, exhaust flow would be disrupted and performance degraded. Andrew innovatively addressed both problems. Andrew is meticulous. He works slowly and carefully and makes certain everything is just perfect. He spared no effort.

He installed the turbo, new spark plugs, fixed an exhaust leak and did a few other miscellaneous things. I was very pleased! His experience is clearly evident and watching him work is a real pleasure. Heís a first class mechanic. For a car nut, itís the baseball equivalent of watching a pitcher throw a perfect game. Even though his shop is new, itís neat and clean. If youíre in N VA or MD, donít take your car anywhere else and expect the same quality of work.

Glad to hear another happy "Andrew story"!!!!!!

His knowledge, experience and workmanship are outstanding.

The thing that makes him stand out even more is the little things he does like always having time to talk if you have a question or what you should or shouldnít do to your car!

If you don't want to work on your car yourself or if you want a sweet set of gears for it, contact Andrewtech, you won't be disapointed!!!!

Word, Andrew is the man. Always a pleasure to talk to and work with. I wish I had more money so I could do all the things to the car (and bike...) we've talked about.

You have to make some impression to have another Vendor compliment your work and post about it.

I know I will be taking my installs to Andrew - as soon as I get some stuff to install

Andrew is "as good as it gets" when it comes to subaru's. I was down there today and he had several very sharp looking subbies waiting for his attention. The doctor will see you now.

I think that he is "official" starting today. He is doing a PPG front diff for me this week.

Hmm, I need to have some required maint work done on the WRX. Once I get all the necessary parts I will give him a call and setup an appointment.

Oy mate! It was great meeting you today (as well as Dan? and the guy from Long Island). I had the pleasure of getting the royal Andrew treatment today. I was there from 8am-6pm or so. Very fun and enlightening!

Great staff, nice shop, and he addressed my issues 100%. We found out my exhaust leak wasn't due to the Godspeed downpipe (which is for sale), rather the flange on the centerpipe (which didn't flex and fatigued).

There's a bunch of wicked Subies there and Andrew treats everyone like any of the other top-notch Mid-A vendors/automotive specialists. Of course everyone has heard about his wealth of knowledge about gears and what-not...but you gotta drop by and see for yourself.

two thumbs up for a great guy and fun time. grassy ass, amigo! Kudos to Russell and Mauricio (sp?).

I love it. Gobs of power all the way to the top. I posted on it in the Proven bragging forum and got a pounding.
