Default anybody selling 1998/1999 gold RS wheels??

I want a set of 98 RS gold wheels, preferably with good tires for the winter in stock 205/55/16 size (even RE92's). I might even consider 1999 wheels, and look into powdercoating them..

Prices are generally too high for my wallet, but if somebody has an inexpensive set with a little curbing or something, its good.

let me know.... Lorenzo

$1,050.00 for a set of 4- while I understand they are obligated to sell 'em at dealer price (minus a little) that hardly qualifies as decent.

I've seem people sell used 98 golds for $250 each before, Exeter's price isn't all that bad. Good luck finding a set though. Never know, may get lucky.

$250 each used? That's just silly. They've come up many times in the classifieds for $450-500 a set in good shape.

I don't believe that either. I've seen them being sold for $500, maybe $550 max used.

Keep in mind that these are the oldest available RS wheels and are usually not in the best condition.

I've got my eye on those ones on ebay... I actually did put a bid on them, but we'll see where that goes.... somebody always jumps in at the last minute and I get screwed. I'd seen these going for around $350 w/tires last summer, but I opted not to buy, now I'm kinda kicking myself...
