Default Anyone have a dyno of a vf-34 vs stock?

I am looking to see the difference in spool up between the two. I might pick one up I just need to see if it will be to laggy for autocross.

Default im interested too!

We just installed the v34 setup in my 03 wrx! Runs great, way smoother.

fyi there was not much difference in spool time, plus you would want a catless upipe (so the cat wont get sucked back into the turbo) uppipe makes a big difference.

i like it, good luck!

Not exactly stock car vs stock VF34 setup, but it is stock TD04 vs VF34 comparison. The red graph is my car (TD04, APS Uppipe, Prodrive Centerpipe, STi axleback, Dynocomp Stage .5) Blue graph is my friend's (VF34, ERZ Uppipe, Helix catless turboback, Cobb Stage 2.5). Both are shelf maps if you're wondering. Dyno runs are road dynos, but it's close in measurement from what I've seen some other cars I've dynoed vs a real dyno readout on those same cars. BTW, 13.6 psi on TD04 and 16.6 psi on VF34. Both runs in 3rd gear.

Boy, that's a huge difference down low. I've been pondering a VF34, but I'm not ready to give up that much low end grunt yet.

How about a vf34 vs. a vf39? which of those two spools faster, produces more power, and is smoother to drive?

In reality they are about the same, but technically, the VF39 should spool SLIGHTLY faster and produce a little bit less power.

Umm, ya! Keep in mind I don't even have a downpipe on the car yet (red graph). Once I get that my torque should be at least 230 if not a little more. Also both of these are shelf maps. Technically speaking if the VF34 car would get tuned I'm sure it would be a little stronger, but I don't know how much more torque it would gain down low below 4k. After I get a downpipe on mine and reflash to Stage 1 I hope to see hp and tq figures in the 240-250 range on the road dyno. We'll see.
