A good BOV on a Subaru is an oxymoron. They all leak to one degree or the other. Stick with the factory BPV. If you want that pssssht sound, run a search on the snorkus delete mod. It's effective, cheap, and won't eff up your car.

The only BOV that i have seen work on a wrx without causing problems is the HKS SSQV. But i highly recommend using the stock BPV.

I used to have the HKS SSQV, it sounded cool. I switched back to the stock BOV and noticed my car ran 10 times better. If you have a stock car there is no need for an aftermarket BOV.

HKS SSQV is the only other BOV apart from a stock one that works well because its a pull type i.e. on boost, the pressure pushes against it and holds it closed, and its pulled open on vacuum to vent the boost pressure.

The only downside is the noise it makes...if you like it then good for you, but if you don't then you'll need to run a plumb back kit or just use a stock BOV

I've got an SSQV in my car and I love it.

The GFB [Gruppe-s] BOV / BPV is nice. Of course I have a fm and needed a bpv. I read an article that said the suby bpv is the best thing to run.
