What's a horn?

That Varex would be fun to mess with people in blue cars

Yeah man, that's what I thought! Leave it open for everything except cold morning starts and when you get pulled over! That's leave them scratching their heads, lol

The actual manifold. I just call it a horn since it looks like one.

What do you mean the front Rob? I guess I confused everyone a little and I'll correct myself: I need the exhaust manifolds for a 02-05 WRX or 04-07 STi, but not the crossover pipe.

Troof.

Is your car not a DD? I hated my coils on these ****ty Michigan roads.

I'd do it all over again if I had the coils though, haha

lol actually I looked into the KW V3's several people reported that after it was aligned and the right settings were dialed in, they were much more confortable of a ride. well by broken i mean t4-t7 2 buldged discs the others are protruding. The wonderful results of a 250 lb powersupply falling on you from a deuce and 1/2

Heads are done from C-Tech! Arnie, the owner, said that the cam journal was dicked because the cam was under load when the caps were removed, so it pinched the wall and folded material. Ground the exhaust valves and seats, vacuum checked the intake side, and then decked the head to clean it up.

So excite!

They have on their site that a full port and polish is 7-800. I think a set of cams for your car would be all you need though, no real porting or polishing. Maybe have them do a rough job and knock down the casting marks and flashing, but unless you go real big turbo you wouldn't need a full job done.

I'm unsure of the STi heads, but I know the 2.0's can spin 8k with just cams. Their heads flow well enough, and the springs can keep up with 272's. If you go real aggressive, like 280's, then you'll need new springs.

Edit: just spoke to Arnie and he quoted 5-600 to work the exhaust side. He said on most cars you can expect a 10-15% increase from exhaust work, and only really a 1-2% increase from intake work, so no reason to mess with that.

Dunno, never asked them.

Total was 400 for them to fix the cam, getting the exhaust valves, hot tank the heads, and vacuum check the intake. More than I wanted to pay, but it's done correctly so I don't have to worry about that.

Combine that with the shimless buckets and the head studs and I should never have to treat back in to this engine.

Do any of you guys with brake experience live in the Holland area? I did a full brake job, minus calipers, and I have a really soft pedal feel. I have bled the system a few times now and the fluid coming out looks good but it still feels like there is air in the system somewhere. At this point I am lost as to what to do.

A good friend of mine is selling his 99 outback thought i would toss it up here see if anyone might be interested. Its got ~170k miles needs a little work with suspension and new tires, but other than that its in good working order, no leaks, no head gasket issues, timing belt done around 105k, wrx wheels we painted bronze a few years ago. a few scrapes from two tracking it, and rust on the driver door.
