Rubber gloves and push or rubber squeegee also small pumice stone for small areas .. this pushes it into one ball ... this worked on all out cars before I traded to car max and they couldn’t tell I had two dogs lol

I had to remove a TON of long white Great Pyrenees fur from a vehicle with dark carpet. Lint rollers did not work as the fur was thoroughly worked into the carpet.

I used some thick rubber gloves like old people use to wash dishes. Get the heavy duty kind. The thicker the better. Then just rub the carpet vigorously and it pulls it all up.

I think Sticky lint roller is a classic but effective tool to remove dog hair from car. It's inexpensive, easy to use and available in almost convenient stores .

For those of you with the integrated headrests (like the 13 WRX Limited has) what hammock or pet cover do you use, a run of the mill four strap joint? I wonder if it will leave strap marks on my leather seat and don't want that.

I got the $20 special Winsee seat cover from Amazon last week. Doesn't leave strap marks on the precious leather seat back lol and the materials are top notch, strap quality, stitching and a rubber non slip backing. Search Winsee seat cover rear

Okay everyone pet hair is literally the f***ing worst thing ever to get out of carpeting and upholstery. Especially when it sticks inside the fibers and will not come out.

But there's a method to my madness. First off DO NOT GET THE DOG HAIR WET
It will not come out of carpeting.

- Pumice Rock
- Rubber Pet Hair Removal Brush
- Tornador Black Car Cleaning Gun

Then shop vacuum the shiz out of the carpet.

Leather interior works.. also I don't let dogs in my car. We've got a "dog car" for them. The dudes at the car wash always get the fur out of the carpet some how, and the nose smears off the windows too.

+1 for the pumice rock! I have two labs that leave hair everywhere, the dogs have never been in my car but still somehow their hair is there. Between a hair de-shedding brush and a pumice stone it got 98% of the hair out.

+1 to this! Lint roller, fur fighter, walmart carpet cleaner with bristle brush will do the trick. Then get a soft sided dog carrier, works like a charm!

To minimize the hassle of trying to remove dog fur in my STI, I went on Amazon and searched "dog hammock car seat cover" and picked up one of the options there for about $20-30, it connects with adjustable loops that go around the front and rear headrests, it's got a rubber bottom and is some sort of durable canvas-like material, small slits for the seat belts to pass through, and "anchors" that go between the back/bottom of the seat crease to hold it in place. Machine washable, and is really easy to put it in/take it out when I need to take the dog to the vet or on a trip. It's awesome, definitely recommend it to anyone with a dog that sheds like mine!

I didn't read others responses so if i'm repeating something..oh well. lol

A mini window squeegee with a rubber edge. Or a full size but the mini is more nimble. Pulls all the hair out.

Step 1- Go down to your local Dollar Tree and buy 5 lint rollers and a can of compressed air (computer duster).

Step 2- Roll the lint over the dog haired surfaces to clean it off.

Step 3- once all visible dog hair is removed, spray compressed air on all seat and panel gaps to get all the dog hair out of those hard to reach spots.
