What would be a good set of coilovers for a daily driver like me? I go up to the mountain maybe twice a week during the winter, other than that it's around just driving around the city, and to college. Apparently, race land ones are a horrible choice.

I've only had experience with two sets: Tein Flex and BC's I love the Tein's but most folks think they ride too rough due to being so stiff. The BC's were a nice set of coilovers and had a smoother...well, less rough ride compared to the Teins Both helped the car dramatically with body roll compared to stock GD wrx suspension. Both offered a great amount of adjustability for me to stance-out my car and fit the fattest wheels and tires I could 'til my heart's content AND switch it up to take it out for a spirited drive whenever i feel like it. hope this helps a bit. oh, and I've daily'ed all my pass three cars on coilovers...i can't stand body roll anymore. lol |

race lands are just cheap, horrible, to what? compared to a set of Kw's yeah defs horrible but to stock springs, i think not. they have a 2 year warranty so if they suck that bad just send them back, my suggestion would be to get the BC's. They are relatively affordable, and many people use them. Get a set that you can adjust the height so in winter you can raise it then in the summer you can go lower if you want, hope that helps. Also a new set of sways, and solid endlinks with do you a world of good as well.
