What would be a good set of coilovers for a daily driver like me? I go up to the mountain maybe twice a week during the winter, other than that it's around just driving around the city, and to college. Apparently, race land ones are a horrible choice.

well, you're asking in the wrong thread but i'll lend you my thoughts anyhow.

I've only had experience with two sets: Tein Flex and BC's

I love the Tein's but most folks think they ride too rough due to being so stiff.

The BC's were a nice set of coilovers and had a smoother...well, less rough ride compared to the Teins

Both helped the car dramatically with body roll compared to stock GD wrx suspension.

Both offered a great amount of adjustability for me to stance-out my car and fit the fattest wheels and tires I could 'til my heart's content AND switch it up to take it out for a spirited drive whenever i feel like it.

hope this helps a bit.

oh, and I've daily'ed all my pass three cars on coilovers...i can't stand body roll anymore. lol

race lands are just cheap, horrible, to what? compared to a set of Kw's yeah defs horrible but to stock springs, i think not. they have a 2 year warranty so if they suck that bad just send them back, my suggestion would be to get the BC's. They are relatively affordable, and many people use them. Get a set that you can adjust the height so in winter you can raise it then in the summer you can go lower if you want, hope that helps. Also a new set of sways, and solid endlinks with do you a world of good as well.

I love the look. Those wheels are pretty much CSL Reps and it looks like you are running Phoenix Yellow. Even your front lip with the struts looks like an M3 lip popular about 8 years back. An e46 M3 STI! Classy look my friend!
