yes, quite a shame, I guess the 2013 season will start without HRT and Marussia

AFAIK, HRT is the only one going under.

Crazy end to a pretty good season imo. Was a nailbiter for sure.

Wow, that Hulkenberg penalty was total bull****. Sucks for Hamilton of course, but to punish Hulk and ruin his result over that was just stupid.

He took out the leader of the race, other people were swapping similar passes without bending cars. A drive through is the lightest penalty they can give, right?

I'll weigh on on this when I actually see the race about two days from now.

It's pretty straightforward. Nico had a good run on Hamilton going into T1 with a Marussia and Caterham just in front, but as they got within a few meters of it, Nico's rear end wiggled and then came around into Hamilton's left front.

In Kimi's defense:

Quote:
Kimi Raikkonen (10th)
"I went off at the last corner on lap fifty-two as I couldn’t see well with my visor being dirty and fogged up. Where I went off you can get back on the track by going through the support race pit lane, but you have to go through a gate. I know this as I did the same thing in 2001 and the gate was open that year. Somebody closed it this time. Next year I’ll make sure it’s open again."
Awesome.

He should have gotten out of his car, opened the gate and driven through it.

My heart's still racing from watching that a few hours ago. Spectacular the whole race throughout the field. Too much to even mention, but that was a real gem of a race! Great finish to a great season. Congrats to Seb but I do feel for Alonso who gave his maximum all year long. I'd have to give him "Driver of the Year/MVP" if such a thing existed. Poor Marussia

6 titles in 3 years, what can you say? With minimal rule changes for 2013 and Lewis out of McLaren, you gotta put your money on 4 straight...

If it hadn't been for the hill and lack of parking brake, I bet he would have.

You think we're part way through another Ferrari/Schumi? Yeah it is definitely feeling that way. I hope this Coca Cola money flowing into the sport can upset the apple cart a bit.

I think 2014 will be a huge enough shakeup to bring balance to the Force. Unless, of course, Newey goes all Newey.

I doubt it, 2006 was the change to V8s, and, well, you know.

^^ i think with the introduction of turbo's again, we could have some teams shine and others fail even more. Just need that $$$ and with three constructors championships in a row valuing voer $300 million, i'm sure redbull will not be falling behind!

I don't think the expansion teams have the r and d for a turbo 6 engine
