Tahoe trip
Hey all bay area members. We are trying to organize a Tahoe trip this winter. For a three day weekend of playing hard in the snow all day and the casinos all night. We are shooting to go in late January. I will need to order a cabin soon. If you are intrested please let me know. I think that it would be really fun for everyone to get together and play with their cars in the snow and just have fun. Please bring your significant other too so that I will have someone to hang out with. It would be really cool to have about 20 people coming.

the cabin is an A frame and sleeps 12 (in beds and a pull out couch) let me know ... |

Chris Thanks for the offer. Could you email me later @ [email protected]? Then we could discuss more details. I forgot to mention that I have a dog and I think that Randy might want to also bring Heidi along.

The main reason I bought a Subaru was to go skiing. I'm interested.

Kim,
I don't know if I'm going to come: Here are some reasons why: 1.) I can't drive there. 2.) I'm not 21 (No gambling) Wouldn't want to start the lamentation again. 3.) I can't snowboard, ski, make scooby doo snowmen. |

Sev, well actually I invited everyone, but you. Did I forget to mention that in my original post? Just kidding! You know I love ya. But you can ride with us and Diablo, I will teach you how snowboard, and I am sure that not everyone is down to losing all of their money each night. Everyone should come and whatever problem there is can be worked out!

I'm interested, just keep the details out there. Being in the wintersports business, I could be out of town since that's our season( especially if you schedule it during Outdoor Retailer). But if I come, I will bring along demo snowshoes for those folks like Sev who don't board or ski.
And, I have taught boarding and skiing as well, so could intstruct interested parties. Hope I can make it... |

Hey Matt,
I have been boarding for about 8 years now, but never took any lessons. I was wondering if maybe you could give me some tips on the slope, so that I could improve my skills. ~Bill |

Bill,
something tells me after 8 years I won't have much to teach you. Plus it depends on your style. I ride the steeps and carve... no jibbing for me. |

Hey Matt, I'm thinking of getting a longer board 'cause I want to ride steep and fast. I was thinking of getting a Winterstick Severe Terrain. Any thoughts!

Matt,
You might think since I have been riding for 8 years I am pretty good. Ehhh, I am decent, and can hold my own. I am not a freestyler at all and don't plan on it. I have been riding long boards since I started. Carving up hard packed snow in Vermont. I have never ridden out here and I am sure from what everyone tells me it is a whole lot different. Anyway so what is happening with the trip? |
