Default obd-rex?? phone logging?

I hate when people do this to me but I was reading a magazine at CVS last night while the g/f shopped and I saw something I think was called OBD-REX?
It plugged into the OBD port and into a nextel motorola phone and I gues came with software and you could log your car straight on your phone!? I tried to find this online and couldn't find anything? anybody have any info?

Sounds similar to the VTTi Toolbox OBDConnect product. Their website, www.obdconnect.com, has gone missing but you can view the PDF user's manual from google's html conversion at http://www.google.com/search?q=cache...m/OBDColor.pdf.

Another cool product is the car-pal unit.

The forum doesn't allow me to add the like, but you can use google to search for it.

The thing I like about car-pal unit is there is no cable connection between the phone and obd unit. It uses Bluetooth to send obd data to your phone. In my Audi the obd connector is next to the gas pedal. Driving with the cable running under my feet all the way to the phone is not pleasant.
It comes with the cd, which contains software for pc, pda as well as windows mobile. The price is not bad either around $200 including shipping to the USA.
