Thanks, I love the look of the sport-mesh grill! And dont worry, in the spring time, I have a LOT of plans for the car.

^I really like the silver grill
Kansai looks awesome even in winter mode this could be dumb on my part but did you buy the front lip (not the black one the blue one on the bottom of your front bumper) or did it come with the car? I recently lowered my 2.5i and it really needs a lip now |

I know, wish we would have had that as a premium package. The 08-10 wrx front lip is waaaay better than those funky looking lips available for the 2.5i. Too bad its built into the wrx bumper |

hahah yeah I did that a couple weeks ago and since the winter is coming I don't want to bother trying to fix it.
In the spring I plan on experimenting with painting the garage liner silver and seeing if it will make it look better. (or if the paint will even stick) |

Yeah I doubt that its going to work. You could try though, but I'm guessing it'll crack and chip.

^Probably not on the soft garage door seal, but apparently down in warmer climates and also online you can buy the same thing but made with a harder rubber compound. I've heard that works better for lips.

what about this front lip on subaru genuine parts? https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...oducts_id=1286 Has anyone bought it? It's pricey but it seems like it would look pretty good |

That's the funky lip I was talking about lol...it looks weird in my opinion, I've seen it in person and it hasn't really grown on me. A few people on this thread has bought one, you just have to browse through the pages.

I test fitted a replica version... Didn't look to bad to me. I'll probably go back and buy it.
Close picture that you normally don't see. |

You guys are going to laugh...
I was at Bayson R getting some window visors when they eyeing my car and asked if I would let them test fit a lip kit on it. Oddly enough I is almost identical to a lip kit I had been eyeing on eBay. Anyway, it's a four piece kit consisting of a Front Lip, Rear lip, and Side Skirts. The front and rear look just like Subaru optional lips. However the side skirts are a little more aggressive IMO. I only got pics on the front lip. The sides and rear didn't go on all the way because my mudflaps got in the way. But sans mudflaps everything looked like it fit really well. That all happened back in January... Since then I have never seen the kit posted by Bayson R anywhere. Not on their website, not through their eBay account, and not by anyone else who may have checked it out. So I have no idea if it even exists anymore. The biggest thing stopping me from getting it was finding a way to get it all painted without breaking the bank. I may be going back in the next couple months though and see if they have it and I'll try to buy it. |

Wow you got my hopes up and then dashed them haha but thanks!
If you ever hear anything about them selling it please let me know... It may cost a bit to get it painted but Bayson R makes good products (from what I hear) at a very affordable price. Perhaps I'll shoot them an e-mail and see what they have to say |

So I checked out Bayson R and they said that this liphttp://www.baysonr.com/08_09_Subaru_Impreza_STI_V_Style_PU_Front_Lip_p/flip-pu-im0809-sti.htm should fit or at least it looked like this kit. At the store they said $125 cash which is probably better than shipping that large thing. They also have side skirts and rear diffuser (similiar to HT Autos abs plastic only) in both polyurethane and abs plastic. So tomorrow I will be getting the lip hopefully as for the "add on" lip like Jordan test fitted they had the exact same one but the guy said it was for a wrx of course but I dont know if it will fit as I have a hatch. But I will definitely ask more questions tomorrow. Hopefully that lip will come with installation hardware too! hope this helps guys.

Thanks so much for going directly to a source! I may have to contact them in the spring for some parts if this works out cause I want to add the rear diffuser, lip, wing, etc.
So I'm looking to get the OEM WRX exhaust this weekend if possible. Does anyone know for sure whether that voids the warranty or not? I have yet to speak with anybody who can answer that question |
