started my 1st run of the AM, went to tap my brakes...soft. spank it and went to stomp on the brakes...pedal to the floor

ran the remainder by sliding to bleed speed. turns out one of my brakes lines rubbed against the rim and put a hole. guy had a spare, installed, bled and ran all pm. beautiful day.

I need one too. Where are they located and how much do they charge for rolling the front fenders?

Is cars & coffee in Richmond this weekend?

I'm planning on installing my Killer B oil pickup this weekend if anyone was possibly interested in stopping by to see the install. I did it on my first STI so it's not a completely new process to me. I'm just hoping I can get the pan separated from the block in less time than the last one took. Not sure if I'm going to start Friday after work or Saturday morning.

What area do you live in? Do you use fugibond to re-seal it back to the block?

Finished my oil pickup install. Took all weekend

Since moving I haven't quite gotten all my tools yet or collected necessary odds and ends that are helpful for working on a car. After 234235 trips to the store in the midst of it all I finally finished. So far it looks likes there are no leaks out of the pan but I've got once heck of an exhaust leak. On the last STI I managed to get all my old gaskets to seal back up but I didn't get that lucky this time around.

I need to find some time to fix my stupid rattling uppipe shield so I'll probably just wait until I do that to get all new gaskets.

In doing all of this work it's made me realize just how much I'd like to have a read on oil pressure and temp so I think I'll be looking at some gauges in the near future.

I plan on going with all Grimmspeed gaskets when I get around to fixing it. It's leaking really bad now. I might just go under and loosen everything up and then try to tighten it all back down and keep my fingers crossed. It's bad enough that I don't want to drive it but I know I'll have to pull it apart soon enough that I don't want to throw away money and do it twice.

Try some high temperature silicone (the orange stuff)

It works wonders.

How long have you had it, I saw a white one on staples mill a few weeks ago but you couldn't see me because of traffic. I think it had an exhaust, but cant remember.

If anyone is looking for all weather floor mats for an 02-07 impreza/wrx/sti I have some I have no intention of ever using. Just missing the passenger front one

$20 takes them.
