I'll have to throw some pics up here soon. Mods thus far to my new 07' 2.5i:

STi Springs
HKS Super Hybrid Filter
Prodrive P1 Wheels - Athracite
35***37; front/passenger tint, 25% rear
Front Fogs
Poly replica v-limited style lip.
STi Trunk swapped. De-badged.
Cobb Lightweight Main Pulley
20mm rear sway
STi Catback (welded additional length in the midpipe and removed the resonator 2.5")
Front grill replaced/debadged with aftermarket mesh (black).
Lower Air Vent- added black grill
Full Infinity component system/amp/sub.
Removed factory horn, replaced with Hella Supertones.

I think that's most of it off the top of my head... next up is some more exterior work... OBP Painted rear tails and front headlights and possibly STi sideskirts, also installing an injen wrinkle red CAI. Once the warranty expires... new headers

UPDATE: A few shots I snapped from the fun hill climb I did while I was over at Lake Chelan, WA. The pics really don't show off the car well due to the awkward slop the car was sitting on, and all the dirt it picked up. I'll try and get a set of new pics here soon.

(UPDATED PICS)

This may be redundant/unanswerable, but has anyone found a source for painted mirrors for the 2.5i besides hoping someone parts out a wrecked one? My color is CGM, so it is on the WRX and STi (I think) for at least a few model years...

^ I think subarugenuineparts.com has what you're looking for.

https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...oducts_id=1057

I saw that they have Steel Gray Metallic, but not sure if they have CGM.

those are just mufflers you would need a exhaust shop to either chop off your stock one and weld that on, orr like have them make a whole axleback with that muffler

!gno: I did email them about this, and Jamie, the expert that works there, told me that the steel!!! grey metallic (SGM) doesn't even come close to matching. I'd really like to see them on though, because the mirror skin will never be side-by-side to car (there is black plastic between). I wonder if it would really be that bad...

Actually, its Steel Grey Metallic

And just let everyone know, if you've got the $$$ to buy a better bolt-on axleback (like stromung, scoobysport, prodrive, maddad) its totally worth it. Its a decent setup and it makes upgrading other sections of the exhaust system that much easier. Of course...I have one so I'm biased. Just that those melon-launchers are effin' ugly and look teh cheap. Check classifieds for used stuff! Its where I got mine.

have an auto body shop take off you're side mirror caps and ask them to paint them. There should be a code number that refers to you're paint, on the inside of you're engine bay near the tophats, where it displays what you're model car number is.

Nope, does not get driven at all in the winter, not even in the rail. 4 years old, only 20K miles...lots of track miles though

Yep, it's a metal plate on the drivers side. Should say "Paint Code".

I have an STI axelback on my car but I am thinking of putting on the full STI catback. How does it sound? Feel any performance differences (good or bad)? I got the axelback just because it looked 100 times better than the stock junk they put on but it doesn't feel any different than stock.

Thanks!

Wow, that paint looks nice, even in the dim lighting.

Anyone have an idea of how much I would expect to pay for painting mirror covers from a reputable paint shop ? Thanks.

I put the STi axle-back on that I had left over from my STi. So quiet but sounds cool idling down. Plus same input output diameter as the mid pipe.

The OEM finish is by far more duarable than anything you can get sprayed. Especially for something just sticking out there getting blasted at speed.

Not so sure about OEM paint being far more durable. After all, we are talking about subaru paint right? I'd say a paint shop would be a good option. Did SGP.com say how much more the covers would be to get them in CGM? I remember having to pay nearly twice as much just to get WRX sideskirts in OBP.

The Catback definitely has a deeper more pronounced tone. HP wise? I wouldn't say you lose anything, but I also wouldn't say there's much gain. I left the resonator in. if you want a louder sound, I'd just have a muffler shop chop out the resonator and go with a straight pipe
