Anybody recently replace their clutch and/or flywheel on their Subie lately?
I was trying doing some research before buying a clutch/ flywheel setup for my buddy's '04 STi whos clutch is on its way out. At the moment the car is making 270 whp (mustang Dyno) Stage2. In the following months though we were going to be doing some more engine mods like bigger turbo (possibly something between a 20G~GT30) , FMIC, etc. We figure the car will be making somewhere between 330-375whp on a conservative tune. I was wondering what some of you guys were using in regards to clutches (brand, stage, etc) in that power bracket. Car is used as a daily driver btw. Also if you could point me towards a vendor you have personally dealt with. Lastly where did you get it installed and for approximately how much? Any help will be greatly appreciated folks

ACT HDSS, or go with a 4 puck if you defintely want it to hold. Good clutches are rated by TQ. Stock flywheel is usually the best unless you have a good reason for wanting a light one

DSG did a great job with my stock replacement, and I'm sure they could handle an upgraded clutch and flywheel with any problems. My reasoning on where to go involved not wanting to have any issues at all with the install down the road. My other suggestion would be to go with someone local, in case there is an issue.
