This may be a bit of a long shot, but are you willing to chop off harness plugs? I'm doing an EZ30 swap into my '97 Legacy, and will be having a Vipec V88 installed. I have the complete harnesses on the engine and intake manifold, but I don't have the chassis side of the connectors (coming out of the firewall). The guy doing the V88 install will need those connectors to make the harness (or he'll have to make all new harnesses, which would be more work).

So I'm looking for the chassis side of these 4 plugs (ideally with the wiring to the firewall, so there's a pigtail to splice onto):

If you would rather not chop up the harnesses, then I could also buy the complete harnesses (depending on what you want for them, of course). But I figured it would be a helluva lot easier for you to cut the pigtails off at the firewall rather than removing the dash to get the harnesses out.

Thanks,
Pat

Sweet swap! I wanted to swap this motor into my '03 2.5, but it would have been too much work (for me) to get it to work with a manual considering the VDC and all. Clearly you have not shied away from the challenge!

It would be my pleasure to chop the harness plugs off. That's what sawzalls were made for! I'll try to get you pictures tomorrow.

edit: Also, the engine is sold, but the trans isn't! Anyone need a super sweet VDC transmission? They're like the best transmissions ever and have 4 gears which is neither too few nor too many, but just right.

Those four plugs cut back to the firewall are what you need correct?

The 3 at the bottom (light grey, brown, 2x4 dark grey) are correct. The 1 at the top (which looks like 2x3?) I don't need.

The 4th plug should actually be over on the passenger side strut tower; that's where the harness that comes off the intake manifold goes for some reason. Here's the 2x4 connector with the male pins (your picture has the female side that I need), and then in blue is the plug from the harness coming off the intake manifold. As you can see, it's another big one:

Here's the engine bay of a guy at work. You can see that harness comes off the intake and goes over to the strut tower.

Looks like the harness goes down and then back on top of the frame rail maybe?

Bump! All front suspension and steering sold. Almost all the interior still available including leather seats in very good shape for the age. Heating elements are weak but the heated seats in these cars were never all that great. They're in great shape. Any interior parts you need please let me know! Or exterior.

Bump! Tranny, rear diff, most of rear suspension, driveshaft, cat back exhaust (Walker replacement), window glass, HVAC (no compressor) and almost all interior still available. Also the wheels are in crappy shape but only cosmetically. Would be great for winter wheels. $90 for the set including tires. Tires have some life left in them, but one has inner camber wear that would be the limiting factor in how long they'll last.

Bump, I will sell wheels individually as full size spares. $25 apiece or $90 for the whole set. If they don't go soon I plan on "refinishing" them...by which I mean cleaning all corrosion off and painting them silver.

Bump...finally good weather, soon I'm going to cut this car up but I still have some stuff, let me know if you have needs. Very motivated to sell stuff now, I will pretty much give away the rear diff and axles, propeller shaft...good deals on everything that is left, just make an offer. Seats, all door cards, and ECU are sold.

Bump. Basically in "I want this damn thing out of the yard" mode, so make offers. For local pickup most things are now free or best offer (lowball away...).
