![]() Wired up AEM methanol failsafe. It will trigger a relay that I’ve wired to my ECBS. If the methanol isn’t spraying, it’ll defeat the ecbs circuit and cut boost to wastegate spring pressure and save the motor. Well... that’s what it’s supposed to do anyway. Just trying to protect the bajillion dollars I just spent under the hood.

![]() ![]() Took apart, put back together, took apart, put back together, took apart, put back together..... wiring multiple gauges for methanol and failsafes is tiring. |

![]() Installed a Kartboy shift stop in my 19 WRX. Definitely worth the 30 bucks. No more searching for 2nd when it’s cold outside. (Also got a candy with it before I took my kid trick or treating)

![]() I have always had a heat shield rattle around 2500-3000 rpm (second owner). I didn’t know this until yesterday when I took it in to the mechanic for another issue. They stuck a hose clamp on the heat shield and my car sounds SO much better.
However I still have a clutch squeal so I gotta get that taken care of :/ |

![]() ![]() First order of business has been to upgrade all the front facing lights to LEDs. Tested the H8 LED fog light kit from my 987 in the Subie's low beams. Light output is significantly better than the stock halogen bulbs and the cutoff is surprisingly sharp even with the stock projectors. I'm just pleased to find that these cars don't have PWM lights (or they're at least not throwing any codes for me). We disabled the DRLs by modifying the relay, just like I had done on my Outback. DRLs aren't a legal requirement here and I don't like the way the high beams glow. Ordered another LED kit for the fog lights. Swapped the license plate bulbs and the front running lights to LEDs. Swapped the interior dome light to an LED. The steering wheel has a dent in the leather, so I ordered a new perforated skin. I also did some research on the parts currently installed on this car, as it's not stock.
My C30 was dyno'd at 272whp and current weighs around 3000lbs. 0-60 is consistently at 5 seconds, occasionally sub-5 once the tires are warm. This WRX can pull about 1 car length on the C30 by the top of 2nd gear, so I'm pleased with where it currently is power-wise. No plans to add anything else in the performance category and since I already have two cars with track setup coilovers, we'll be leaving the suspension stock until it needs to be replaced. My wife filled up her shopping cart with the aero parts and vinyl, so the plan is to "finish" this family-car build by the end of the year and then enjoy it for many years to come. ![]() Hello i am a new member, but have pilfered much information from the site over the past year. i have a 2006 outback xt limited turbo that i recently did an engine swap for a jdm ej20x. this is my first subaru.
snaptube.cam/ syncnet.onl/telegram-web/ i was wondering if someone could provide some wisdom to identify a engine harness plug? i guess i have to make the minimum posts in order to post photos. if someone can help me, i certainly am willing to compensate them for their time. thanks in advance. ![]() Nothing super impressive, but I put in a new windshield sprayer so now I can clean my window properly. I had a hose just sticking out of the hood before, so it's a big improvement for such a little part.

![]() Finally got the weighted grimmspeed knob I ordered. I like how the feels now but it's slightly higher. That will probably just give me an excuse to get a short shifter 😁. Ordered the Crawford aos.
