![]() Do you know who will be selling it? So far I can't find it on idatalink's website or any other online retailer. I'm hoping they'll be available here in the US!

Distributors would have had to order it, i am in the US and i have it here already and the green light to ship was done already. You would have to check with local distributors for your area or maybe check with crutchfield as well. They usually preorder stuff and they are usually the first for online sales to receive it. |

Yep doesnt exist................ :/ Maybe if this forum had a better way to add pictures....you know like most EVERY OTHER FORUM OUT THERE.... it would be easier. I shouldnt have to go to multiple places with multiple links to get it to work. Last edited by phd12v; 04-17-2018 at 09:15 AM. |

And btw i was asked to not release pics of the harness right away.... because i work for the manufacturer. I had to get permission. So thats why i didnt do it previously....not that i should have to explain anything anyway. |

![]() for others who want to know, there are three different plugs for the camera harness. Which if you look in the photos you will see the 2 pin yellow and 2 pin blue. yellow plug is for the camera signal and the blue plug is for the 6v power and ground.
simply use the correct camera harness for the vehicle your working with. which is why they have labels A B and C on them. It is so the technical document writers can make it easier to write it into the documents. these two plugs as referenced below and then the one is on the 28 pin connector. Thank you for keeping us in the loop and for pushing to get this harness made (although understand that your motivation for the latter wasn't entirely selfless ![]() Not sure if its just me, but I can't see the images you posted. Not a big deal, but I'm hoping the harness ships with a helpful diagram. There's a reason I am holding out for a plug and play harness, and it's not because I'm competent with electronic wiring. I did email Crutchfield, but the rep said they weren't carrying it at the moment. He did say that they sometimes hold off on offering new harnesses until they are sure there are no bugs. I don't have any local stores that would carry something like this (rural area). If anybody finds a source that's already carrying this harness, please post it! |

I did get an update yesterday that HARMON can be retained now with the firmware and that the harness is already prepped for it. LINK FOR PHOTOS: https://photos.app.goo.gl/m31jqMMcI1024K8A3 Last edited by phd12v; 04-17-2018 at 09:12 AM. |

![]() I always use Crutchfield for a lot of my stereos. They have good parts, though for extra connections in the male/female connector, I will buy two adapters and steal from one. Can be a pain, but easier than having to solder some over others.

![]() One question I have is that there seems to be a constant white noise/static when the Bluetooth is turned on in my new '18 WRX Limited with Harman Kardon. This happens regardless of whether my phone is connected or not. When I press the Bluetooth button in the Subaru, it starts to make the humming/buzz noise which seems to get worse as I turn up the volume. When I turn the headunit off, the noise stops immediately.
It's pretty annoying and it sounds like it's either a grounding issue or an amp issue perhaps. Has anyone else had this issue before? |

![]() i did some more testing today and us with the 18 vehicles may have to do a couple changes. there is a gateway involved now on the CAN BUS. what this means is gauges wont work from plugging into the obd2, I simply moved the location down to the telematics unit in the dash behind the factory radio, and they work from there. so one little modification sofar for that. Back up camera is working as well, along with vehicle info. Doors all show up on screen and well as trunk. I have some further testing to do with the TPMS because as of right now on the 18 it is not applicable. But i will be working to get that resolved soon. i scheduled some r and d with the engineering and i am taking my 18 to the office beginning of june. So while im there hopefully that can get fixed and updated.
One good note is starlink is fine, i still have the greenlight on and i verifed the telematics from the subaru app and by pushing the button in the roof. That is all working as it should, So thats my update so far. I am using the new Alpine HALO 9 to test with. |

![]() What wires did you tap into on the telematics unit? I have a 17 and tried to connect with a OBD pigtail and kept giving an error.
I got the Halo9 too and love it! How are you liking it so far? |

The PDF says there's an Optional Accessory called ACC-uSU1. I can't find any information on what that is. Any idea? |
