Default Suggested exhaust/muffler delete on '19 CVT WRX

So I'm considering buying a new exhaust/muffler delete for my CVT WRX. I want one that's a bit louder than stock but not enough to wake everyone up (I'm in NY). Not sure how these exhaust sounds with a CVT engine so I'm hoping someone here was in this dilemma once and is nice enough to give some insight.

Thanks in advance! Here's a random pic of my car on a rainy day.

They sound the same as with the MT. Transmission doesn't have any effect on exhaust note as the same engine is on the MT as on the CVT.

Look at the Invidia Q300 or the AWE Touring Edition.

thank you for the advice. would you happen to know what's the difference between the 300 and 400? also would you recommend that over the nameless muffler delete?

I would get a LegaMax premium muffler or just leave it stock. CVT sounds like a slipping clutch and not the kind of sound you want to be heard too loudly imho.

There was a parent in a WRX at my kid’s school with a loud exhaust and it sounded horrible.

I have muffler deletes. It is a love/hate relationship. At least with a manual you can somewhat control the sound. I wouldn't recommend them for an auto TBH. But they are cheap so if you don't like them it is not that big of a deal.

Not quite. My wife had a muffler delete on her cvt wrx and it was quieter than it is on my manual. It also will let out some pops on mine where it doesn't do that on the cvt.
