Default EJ15 to EJ20 engine swap.

Hi all,

I would like to do an engine swap from an EJ15 which I currently have on my JDM 2002 Impreza Sports wagon to an EJ20 motor. The question I would like to ask is if I would need to also swap the ECU. For example the bigger engine may require the computer to tell the fuel pump to send up more fuel than was previously adequate for the 1500CC motor.

regards
Gideon.

Hi, I want to swap my drum brakes to disc brakes, do I have to buy disc brake pads too or can I use the drum brakes?

Common bro, this belongs in the newb section.

Yes, you need the correct ECU for the engine. GL
