whats the latest on the heads karl? Also where did you buy your battery relocation kit from? I need to order one soon that will fit my oem battery. I also dont plan on running the kill switch in the rear of the car, i dont plan on racing the car but still want to clean up my engine bay. I think I might move my fpr to where the battery sits now also. This way I will have soo much less -an line in my engine bay and should look alot cleaner!

well im debating on to see about rebuilding the 2.0 and put my newly fixed heads that actually have the correct valve job and porting that i thought i had previously. probably just replace the crank and all the bearings in the block, put it together and get ready for opening day in spring. slap in a new walbro 400 along with a fpr bump the fuel up so i can stretch these id1000s out on e85. then go all out on the stock 5spd... hope it doesnt break..

karl forgot to mention the rod bearing in 3 is fused to the rod. the other bearing is paper thin.

no. that thrust bearing is through the first layer and into the copper. a new tri-metal acl has like a dark black finish on the surface.

so you are building the rs now? I'm going be doing something simiar too so let me know if you ever need a hand cause I know I will need some help in the future. And we arnt to far away+ in 3weeks Ill by jobless

Whats the plan for the bug eye? If you have any interest in selling just the shell for cheap let me know......just picked up a 05 WRB totaled WRX.
