They sell two styles, pictured below, both styles are on ebay or their site, along with full mounting hardware and instructions.

Flapatax does not currently make a set specifically for the 12+ Impreza. I inquired ~1 month ago. He said it's on his list though.

According to the ebay listing, these will fit. I'll let you know.

Keep in mind fitment is about the placement of the screw holes and how it mounts on the car. I would bet the basic pattern and size of the mudflaps is the same for all the flaps they make. This is also probably true for Rally Armor.

Anyone that can offer any help thanks in advance.

I keep bottoming out my car on snow banks and ****tily-designed driveways from businesses. Are there any springs with a higher ride height? Like maybe an inch or two? If I'd known about the crosstrek I would have waited but nope. AWD is kinda sad for most uses unless your car is a fair height above the ground.

May I ask what car were you driving before Impreza? Jeep? Because stock height of Impreza is rather high.

Check out subtle solutions. They have 1 inch lift kits for our cars.

Biggest problem I find with the Impreza, compared to other cars I have owned is it has the worst (lowest)entrance angle I have ever experienced.
Even just slightly angled driveway entrances have been tearing the crap out of the stock front air dam due to a very long overhang past the front wheels. I can't even imagine adding that extra bit of plastic on the front to make that even lower!

Flapatax Update.

He contacted me because he listed the flaps for a 2012 Impreza 2.0 on ebay but hasn't officially released that one, though he has the hole pattern info.

I may be the guinea pig. We shall see, I'll let you know what the response is.

I just ordered some as well. He said he would mark out the holes but I would have to drill them myself. This way if the holes dont line up I can move them. I'm glad you posted these. I like the design of the origional much more than the rally armor, plus the price is a big bonus!!

I actually installed my rally armor flaps tonight, pretty easy process but I had to work slow because my car sat outside in 5f trends all day, and after being in the garage for an hour with the heat going out didn't warn up that much.

The brackets included were well worth the extra money imho, I could of fabbed some up, but this was much easier, and some we got them for 20% of price was reasonable

Is there any serious improvement to be gained from adding the sti strut brace to the Impreza?

Then you've never owned a VW TDI. Not only are those cars 1" lower than our Imprezas, but the TDI engine is taller than the gasser engine that VW also fits into these cars. VW couldn't mount the TDI engine higher, so their solution was to drop the TDI engine down lower. As a result, the fragile oil pan on the TDI actually hangs below the car's subframe, leaving it wide open to strikes against road debris, ice chunks, curbs, and so on.

I had a skid plate installed on the TDI that I dumped. I don't feel a need to install a skid plate on my Impreza.

Keep us posted on ease of installation and how that works out.
Especially any problems or impact on handling.

1" is a pretty significant lift and would help with that long front overhang bottoming on driveways etc.
I guess I could play the glad game that its only plastic being torn up.

I haven't purchased them and I am not sure if I am going to. I have gone back and forth with the idea but decided it isn't in my best interest now as money is tight. Attached is a link that well help with your installation if you decide to go this route. Doesn't look like too difficult of an install.

Default Drl Led Strip Mod

So I recently did a little mod to my headlights, wished my HIDs came in at the same time but those are held up in shipping at the moment.

here is my simple mod for the "audi" style LED strips DRL (however they stay on once the engine is on and stay on for about 20 sec after i shut it off). Adds a sweet touch and very easy mod to complete. The only time consuming part is putting down the strip so that its hidden from plain view.

All lights on:

Just LED strips:

Each Headlight: Lit for approximately 20 secs after engine shut down.

Question:

Does anyone have a solution to adding a visor light since our visors doesn't have lights?? short of using the map light of course...

i wanted to fab some sort of mod similar to the new Benz C class light where its embedded into the headliner and there is a metallic connector on the latch that locks the visor in place so if the visor is locked in and you flip it down to use the mirror, the turns light on the headliner. However if its unlatched and moved to the side window for shade the light won't turn on since the metal connector isnt engaged. (if this makes any sense)

might be more work than its worth but the wife complains about the lack of lighting when using the mirror.

Lastly, anyone know if the footwell lighting kit Subaru sells will work for our impreza? 2012 and up?? i know it says up to 2011, just not sure if it will work for the 2012 impreza 2.0

Default Coilovers for 2011 wrx fit our car?

I recently installed tein springs and they are way to soft the spring is almost compressed all the way down to the bottom. I saw a coil over installation for the 2011 wrx and everything looked the same as our 2012 Subaru. Will they fit?

Subaru has a new footwell illumination kit for the impreza, xv crosstrek, and forester. I saw an announcement on it in the 12/10 news section of the cars101 website. The part number for the red version is H701SFJ100. I called my dealer about it yesterday and they quoted me $149 for the part, $215 installed. Obviously a lot pricier than the $40 dollar kit for the wrx and 2011 or older imprezas!
