What made you go for the cosworth rod bearing instead of using kings on mains and big ends. Was it a clearence issue or do you not trust the kings on the rods?

I usually use kings but I had a set of Cosworth bearings sitting around that fit.

So, are you satisfied with the EFR technology? The power is outstanding.

The rods are pretty comparable but the xpg kings are a better main design.

Awesome build! Do you have any port work done on the heads?

Mild hand porting. Mostly cleaned up the casting and smoothed the transition from the seats to the runners. One day I'll have Fuji K do some heads up right.

Nice! When/if my NF built block goes I definitely plan on having Fuji give my heads the double D treatment.

I had been having some issues with the aftermarket cams and sync errors on the aem, so I replaced the series 1 box with a series 2. I pulled the engine and retorqued the heads, and while it was out, deleted the variable valve timing since I only use a little advance down low. It was just too risky knowing that if I over advanced the cams or had a sensor error I could potentially run the valves into the pistons.
Now the plan is to finish up the tune on the series 2 and turn the car up another 3-4 psi and see if it can do 900 SAE.

Doubt it. I have a way of being the one that gets in trouble when I go to events like that.

Just remove your plate and be faster and/or more reliable than at least a few of the other cars around.

Well this gives credence to the runner diameter discussion and flow.

Decided to dial in the new AEM EMS and turn it up a little more. Car really liked that extra 3 psi of boost!

New numbers:

For the purists, uncorrected numbers:

All on winter blend E70 from Valero.

It's the delta between runs that's amazing
I've never tuned at such high horsepower. If the power keeps climbing, what do you use as a ceiling? Just chance it?
