Any thoughts on the v5/v6 JDM manifold? Looks a lot different from most other subaru manifolds. Plenum looks significantly larger than the stock GD manifolds, but what disturbs me is the runners look the driver's side look longer than the passenger's... doesn't look like it'd flow evenly to me:

I'd really like to know how the Grimmspeed ported intake manifold flows. I have TGV deletes, ported throttle body and a bowl blend/minor port on my heads. Need to keep TMIC

That's a good enough answer for me. If it's not worth testing I think I'll pass and spend my money on something more worth while.

How high will the test car rev? What sort of mod list? Just guessing from your work before it will be built heads ported, cams springs, etc and a 75 lb/min or more turbo

I know that all testing is complete, but if you ever have time, like you don't work hard or anything jk, do you think you could flow test any of the manifolds with the throttle plate horizontal like most reverse manifold setups? It would be interesting to see and have actual data to see delta between cylinders other than to tell people "my car runs fine"

So in conclusion our 2.5i manifolds not only can hold boost but flow great, which is why I'll stay Supercharged and enjoy all my intake manifold has too offer.

I just sent ASF Machine an email about trying to get hold of one of these ported 2.5i intake manifolds for my build. I have been wanting to avoid the Cosworth manifold; $1100 for a chunk of cast aluminum that doesn't flow as well as I would think it should. I was told about the 2.5i IM by my tuner and it sounded like a pretty good option. It keeps sounding better and better now that I have learned of ASF Machine's porting work and testing. I figure with the flow numbers they are showing I should be able to put it to good use. We are expecting my setup to run 35+ psi on e85.

What the hell is that?
Looks like it is based on a NA intake. Who's throttle body? |
