PWN3D For those of you that are victims of road rage, I found the solution to the problem!

I used to always get people doing crazy things in response to things I'd do on the road... Mostly accidental things like cutting someone off on accident, and things of that nature. I try to be a curteous driver and try to not piss people off but we all make mistakes sometimes and the result is someone with terrible road rage trying to do something in response to your action... People have done all sorts of stupid things, anywhere from tailgating me and turning on their high beams, to trying to run me off the road/physically fight me... They see a guy in a tiny little japanese car and think they are holier than thou because they have a big car/truck/SUV...

Recently however, this has stopped completely... People wont even so much as LOOK at me anymore when before they would totally flip out from road rage... How is this so, you ask? The solution was simple... I got a personalized lic plate that says "GUNATIC" as well as a huge sticker on my back windshield that says "GUNATICS.COM" and below the text it says "Your source for guns, inside and out". In the 40k+ miles I have driven, I haven't even had a single person do ANYTHING that would even remotely resemble road rage... I can tell that people will get mad, speed up like they are going to do something, then suddenly they back off and totally ignore me (right as soon as they see the lic plate).

My friend has a pretty big GLOCK sticker on his back window as well as some other gun stickers like HK, etc... He also says that since he put the stickers on his car that he hasn't been a victim of road rage at all... It's been a few years for him and he drives A LOT, not only that but he's a super aggro driver! I've had my lic plate and sticker for a little over 2 years...

Just thought I'd share.

I'm gonna get a license plate that says "PIT BULL WITH AIDS"

I saw that somewhere, but it seems to have vanished.

you know what is funny, I tend to mess with those kind of people more because usually they are smart enough not to brandish in public. And if they chances are they aren't going to be able to successfully harm someone shooting at a moving vehicle FROM a moving vehicle.

It is the people who are NOT educated about guns and gun law that you need to worry about.

Just some food for thought.

Sorry Bruce, you might be a nice guy in person, but I'm starting to think you're one of the most profoundly stupid people I know of.

I don't put gun stickers on my cars because I don't want perps thinking I have guns in there and breaking into my cars.

Awesome. This way, anyone who decides to mess with you is going to have to be a heavily-armed psychopath. Way to raise the stakes buddy.

Gun-addict.

@ you guys... I don't carry guns in my car, nor do I have anything of value in my car... Mostly just wrappers (read: not rappers) and empty water bottles... If someone breaks in, I have insurance... and I mostly park in a garage at home and my work is safe as hell...

I'm not advertising the fact that I have guns on me, all I'm doing is plugging my website.

I should have cleared my original post up because I forgot to mention that this is pretty much region-specific. People in AZ or Texas wouldn't give a crap about the plate or sticker, but CA on the other hand, all you have to do is just MENTION the word "Gun" and people freak the hell out which I think is funnier than HELL.

Since I've had the plate and sticker, not a single thing has happened to my car... My RS used to get keyed and abused by people for whatever reason (random), my WRX isn't even touched... I'm willing to take the risk of someone breaking into my car and stealing my garbage as a trade off to having a plate that plugs my website which I'm very proud of.

I knew OT would rag on me for this, cuz you guys rag on everything regarless of what it is... It's like that one saying "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"... We however do the opposite of that regardless as to what the subject is... that's what I love about OT... We're arseholes and damn proud!

Brilliant. Midday public shootouts over someone pulling out on someone else. None of this makes any sense.

Thats all fine in good until the person raging on you pulls THEIR gun out of their glovebox.

EDIT the moral of my post...if you are going to advertise yourself as being armed....you better be ****ing armed.

But yeah, guns don't kill people (unless you pistol whip someone to death), bullets kill people!

You're getting ragged on because you seem to live in some odd little fantasy world and can't see why your pride in your idea is dumb.

The thing is however, I don't road rage on people... and even if an altercation does happen, I wave and give them the "sorry" gesture... Typically people back down and go about their way if you do that... Two things you should NOT do is
1. Ignore them when they are trying to get your attention, that just pisses people off more
2. Play their game and rage back.

Whenever I have road rage altercations happen to me, it's always because of something stupid and small that I didn't by accident and it pissed the person off enough for them to ballistic. It's not your action that sent them over the top, you're just the straw that broke the camels back... By saying sorry and making them realize that it was an accident they will back down, unless of course they are flipped out beyond the point of return, thats when you call the cops.

It's just cool not having to deal with any of it to begin with.

So you think driving 140mph on public roads is OK, and now we add intentionally messing with people that have gun stickers on their cars as being OK too?
