Haha, now I can't unsee it. I still like the way it came out

As for a how to, I used one of these lights ebay led light and I had to modify the housing it came in since it was too big to fit in that space. Than I just cut a hole in the bumper, mounted the light behind it, and wired it up.

Taking off the front bumper takes maybe 10 minutes if you're going extremely carefully.

Go to each wheel well and take out the clips (the small one needs a punch to push the center in and then you can pull it out), then there are like 4-6 clips under the bumper. Take the four out of the top last so that you aren't under the car when the bumper is loose. It's easier to control without screwing it up. It's ridiculously easy.

If you don't have panel poppers already, I'd invest in some. You can get a set of 6 of them on harbor freight that will handle most of the stuff you need to do inside and out of your car.

All I have right now are iPhone pictures...

Front bumper is off to install super tones

Mounting on the hood latch sucks. Too close to the center.

Test fitting from the radiator support using the stock in Hella brackets.

Test fitting my HPT motorsports front lip using spring clamps. I took the hardware that came with it and threw it all in the trash. I used stainless steel screws and washers to install it.

All back together a few weeks later. Picture taken by John Schroeder at a SLOW meetup.

Defi imperial amber gauges... I bought them for my old STI, sold it, and held onto them because they were discontinued.

Defi Link controller, Killer B delrin shift knob bored out to fit over a Perrin reverse lockout ring.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the infatuation with Hella horns? I hardly ever use my horn to make the investment worth it.

I didn't used to get it either, but it's not about how often you use it, it's about the one time that you NEED it.
