Geez I think I'll stop giving out advise. Everytime I tell someone a size I'm way off.. I guess thats why my woman still thinks I'm 8inch long. |

BE SURE TO TEST FOR LEAKS!!!
I found two of them last night. One by the u-pipe and one on the BPV 90 degree tube. I tested it with my compressor/regulator at 30psi with a special adapter I made. I would of never known if I didn't pressure test since I was still getting boost. |

if you're holding air with 30 psi, you've probably got a tight sytem.
did you let the engine warm up before testing, so the silicone pieces would soften up or did you do it cold? |

I used my own home brew test cap from parts I had laying around the garage.
But to make your own, just go to your local hardware store and pick up a pvc pipe cap that will either fit your intake pipe or IC pipe. Drill and tap a hole for an air fitting and your done! I did it from the turbo outlet / 90 degree elbow last night but I think I may cap off my intake ports and test it from my intake inlet next time. |

I made the "version 4" one and it works awesome. It ended up being around 30 or 40 bucks all together, but most of that was the cost of the gauge. There are obviously cheaper alternatives, but having the gauge on there is nice. |

(I realize I run the risk of having tasq yell at me..lol) But whats the deal on the provided short ram? Are people using them? Is there any reason to not use it? Are they smaller in diameter than stock? Thanks...
